The advanced options calculate your carbon footprint based on more real world factors and conditions. For example if most of your journey is done on high speed motorways, then that is taken into account. Similarly if you have converted your car to run on bioethonal then your net contribution to carbon emissions is a lot lower than running on straight petrol. The idea is to personalise the information, rather than provide you with sweeping generalisations.

Some users want a light version of AiOS. But unfortunately I have no time to develop different versions. Additionly it would be very difficult to do this, because surely every user would see different features in different versions. So I had the idea to integrate all features and hide some advanced settings by default. This makes the options dialog a little bit cleaner and easier to use.

You may search other members profiles using a wide variety of search perameters such as "Recent Members" "English ability" "Have Children" "Country" "Height" "Weight" and many more attributes.

The Advanced Rate is the percentage advanced on your invoices. For example, you sent a $10,000.00 invoice to be factored, the factor advances 90% of that invoice to you ($9,000.00) via wire transfer to your bank account within 24 hours. The additional 10% of the invoice is sent to you by the factor (less service fee) once the invoice is paid by your customer.

Use remote SMTP server only : the system performs an MX DNS look-up on the hostname of the destination e-mail address. If the MX look-up fails, the bounce is aborted. For each MX record returned, the system attempts to send the message directly to that SMTP server. If any server returns a permanent failure code (5xx), the bounce is aborted. Use local SMTP server only: the system sends a bounce message through the SMTP server specified in the account options.

Disable Direct Video Access will disable ALL access to the video card directly. This is useful if you're computer is crashing in the game at the title screen or when you first start a game. This kind of problem is usually due to a video driver problem. Please keep in mind that the performance of the game will probably degrade slightly if you activate the Disable Direct Video Access box.

Disable All Audio turns off both the sound effects and the music for the entire game. This is useful if you have less than 16 Megs of memory on your system.

Disable Sound Effects turns off the weapon noises, creature grunts, etc. This is useful if Get Medieval is running really slow or crashing your system.

Disable Music turns off the musical tunes for the game. This is useful if the game is running really slow, or if you have low memory (16 megs or less) and are receiving game crashes.

Disable High Quality Sounds will deactivate the loading and playing of the super, high quality sounds in the game. Disabling this feature will provide a performance boost for low end systems or low memory systems where the game is "stuttering" or "jerky".

Please note. On the content of these (help) pages you'll find some information that I, personally, found very "dangerous" if you don't use it wisely.
