We played starting in April 1989, and the campaign lasted until early 1991, when several players graduated and moved away at once. I began writing on November 4, 1991. Rogue Pony - I became known as "Pet" in a public fashion once I started meeting a lot of scene folks. I was nervous about revealing my real name, and when a Dom friend dubbed me "Pet" it just stuck. For years, I had screen names or nicks with Pet in them. Brian has never really called me "Pet" except on occasion. In the beginning, when I ponied, I was always introduced as "Pet" but now I am referred to as Rogue or the Rogue Pony.

Drew and John were both attending an MAA meeting (Miles Addict Anonymous) and struck up conversation. A few beers later, we were travel buddies.

Well, if MAA meetings existed we probably would have met there! But Drew, Abram and I lived on the same wing in college. Actually, we are pretty new at this sailing business. Nevertheless, Robert has been windsurfing since his teens all around Europe and some in the US and been practicing good judgement and weather analysis for paragliding for over 7 years ... in other words, we are not new to wind, weather and the sea.
