This can happen when the audio stream is badly interpreted, meaning there is a problem on AVI header. To check that, you can use GSpot. It will give you the encoding bitrate mode (in the bottom right of the "Audio" part): CBR or VBR (written in green on black background). If none mode is lighted, then you just pointed out the problem. You can use the following guide (FR) to rebuild quickly the AVI header and fix the sound problem.

If the video is playing but you can not hear the presenter, please make certain that your computer speakers are plugged in and turned on. Also make certain that you have not muted the sound on your computer. You need to check that the speakers are plugged into the PC and turned on - they may also need connecting to the mains. You also need to ensure that the volume is turned up on the PC. A - First thing to do is make sure your speakers are plugged in and are working properly. We would also recommend closing down all your browsers and logging back into the event. If the problem still persists, please refer to the Broadcast requirements checklist to verify if your system meets all the minimum requirements for the webcast.

Many of the films are silent. To make sure that you hear sound while watching videos, please check the volume controls on your computer. Also, be sure to increase the volume on other conventional video players on your computer, such as Real Player or Windows Media. This may have an effect on your computer's master volume levels. Next, check to see if your system meets the requirements for running video. If the video still isn't working properly try troubleshooting with a different browser.

Chances are you do not have the media software required to hear/view the files. The media clips on this site require the latest versions of RealPlayer, Quicktime, and Windows Media. You can download these versions for free by clicking on the links. If you are still having problems, then it most likely has something to do with your software, connection speed, or internet setup.

Our software does not convert protected WMA files. To convert the WMA files, please make sure you may play it on your computer and the WMA file(s) are not copyright protected! And please make sure that the Windows Media Format codec is installed on your computer. If not, please download it from here and install it to your computer.

Please enter the options dialog to see what's your destination output folder. For example, if you are converting MP3 to WMA files, you should see the WMA output folder.
