Installing custom vinyl letters, vinyl numbers and vinyl graphics can seem like a difficult task. But, when you break it down into steps and take your time, you can achieve outstanding results the first time. There are 2 basic methods for applying your custom vinyl graphics. Wet or Dry. If your vinyl graphics are small then the Dry method is fine. For larger custom vinyl graphics that might require repositioning then the Wet method is your choice.

For Standard Single-Colors, we can go as large as 20" tall without any overlapping. Premium Colors (metallics, reflectives, patterns) and Printed Decals can go about 12" without overlapping.

Vinyl is simple to install. First make sure you have a reference point for placement of the graphic. Use a wax and grease remover to clean the area very well for proper adhesion. Place the graphic on the location to be installed and gently slide around until you have it in the proper location. When you peal the tack sheet off make sure you use a very sharp angle, try to make the tack sheet parallel with the surface as you are pulling it off.

No. All of our products are "printed" on the highest quality materials available by companies such as 3M or Avery. In many cases, these are the same materials as the OEM used. None of our products are produced by layering different colored vinyl. Although some of the decals we have reproduced were originally "water slides" or "water transfers", we print all of our products on a self adhesive substrate.

Yes! You can clear coat on top of any decals! You can also use our graphics as paint mask when you are applying paint to the vehicle. We would caution you to think about the consequences of clear coating before you do it though. Once you clear coat on top of the decal, it is permanently attached to the surface and yellows with age. Removing clear coated graphics will involve sanding off the clear coat and then removing the graphics, then a re-paint.

Most fabrics are too porous unless the are sealed and painted. Otherwise letters can be applied to any clean non-porous surface.

It is fairly simple to install all our sticker/decals. The larger sticker/decals are a little tougher, but if you take your time and use the simple to follow included instructions, you will do just fine.

No. If anything, any wax first needs to be removed. We recommend that your boat surface be free of any dirt, grease or wax. This can be done by using Isopropyl alcohol, methyl hydrate or acetone. Be sure to test is a small inconspicuous area of the boat first to make sure whatever cleaner you use does not damage the surface.

If you can use a level, a tape measure, a post hole digger and a sting line- and are willing to take the time to do the job right - you can probably do the job yourself. We have written instructions available. For the larger jobs some people like to hire a professional for the hole drilling or the entire job.

No, the vinyl materials itself won't harm / damage these surfaces. Actually, it will protect them & act as shield to UV, dusts & scratches. If you don't need them anymore, they can be peeled-off and removed if desired and will not damage the paint or

Die cut means that the design is the only part of the vinyl sticker you see. All the vinyl around the design is removed.

Yes, most of our items can easily be installed by customers or even novices. Application instructions are included in parcel. Some trimming may be required for installation. As for large or complicated vinyl graphics, it is suggested to be installed

Use a hair dryer to warm the decals and they should peel right off. Do small sections at a time. If you use a heat gun, be careful not to burn your paint or finish.

Our stock vinyl decals have an adhesive side that is easily exposed by pulling back on the back portion of paper. We do not use the cling method (for anything that isn't special order) as our standard decals last longer and are more permanent. The adhesive holds the decals as flush to the material as possible.
