Mailboxes in an account share the account quota. Quota tests are based on the sum of the storage used by all of the mailboxes in an account. When the sum of the storage used by all mailboxes in the account is at or over 100% of quota, notification will be delivered several times daily to all mailboxes in the account while the account is at or over 100% of quota.

Incompatibilities between the standard UNIX quota command and the SAMFS filesystem have arisen because of this migration that have resulted in the quota command failing.

Yes, your license and quota will work for both versions, and you do not need to make any changes. However, the quota is shared between the versions. You can. Set the quota you require during setup. Our starting quotas are low because if you are using an email client you don't need a large quota. The quota is just the queue of emails you haven't seen yet. Our IMAP-ready business package comes with 500MB as standard. That's a lot of email! You can always order more if you require.

You can use Storage Settings to allocate more storage, or to purchase more storage if necessary. You can also free up storage by using the Edit Group link (available to you as group owner) to delete messages from the group message folders using the Manage Messages page.

Each email address you have with Adam Internet has a 50mb limit. Once you go over quota, any emails sent to your address will be returned with a notification for the sender that your mailbox is full. To prevent this from happening, we suggest that you ensure your mailbox is cleared of any unwanted messages and large attachments.
