Yes. A-B Tech is a certified CET (Certified Electronic Technician) testing center. We offer certification preparation materials and the testing is performed on our campus. We also offer some training for certified computer and network technicians. Check with the department for the level of training that is currently being offered.

Most students opt for the two-year program for working professionals. They complete two 3-credit courses each term, taken back-to-back to enable them to focus on one course at a time. Students in the full-time, one-year, program complete four courses each term, two at a time.

We began our specialty certifications in 2003, as a result of market demand for specialty coding. Our examinations are skills-based. They reflect what coders do in the marketplace on a daily basis and test your day-in-day out coding knowledge. On the home care side, we have offered the Home Care Coding Specialist-Diagnosis, HCS-D certification since 2003. The Advanced Coding Specialist credential was created in 2003 to test the knowledge of advanced coders in physician specialties.

We will, on a case-by-case basis, assess transfer credit up to six credits. Transfer credits can only be used for financial credit. This means that you must still complete all coursework. Norwich University complies with VA regulations and guidelines as they pertain to transfer credits.

We offer three certifications. The certifications are: 1) the Medical Exercise Specialist, 2) the Post Rehab Conditioning Specialist and 3) the Medical Exercise Program Director. The Medical Exercise Specialist is our primary certification. This is for fitness professionals who wish to develop fitness and conditioning programs for clients with medically related conditions.

All holders of credentials and specialty certifications agree to adhere to the NASW Standards for Continuing Professional Education. CE’s are required when submitting an application for the ACSW, C-CATODSW, C-ACYFSW, and C-CYFSW. Twenty (20) hours of continuing education are also required for the renewal of all specialty certifications.

Texas A&M must receive an official transcript from the originating institution. Request the granting institution to send a transcript to the TAMU Registrar.

Have the college granting the credit send an official transcript to the Registrar's office at Nazareth. Official transcripts usually cost around $5.00. Do this even if you took the course through your high school; we can't accept high school transcripts for college credit. Once we post your credit this summer, you will receive a letter telling you what courses you received credit for at Nazareth.

While it is possible for us to accept up to eight units of transfer credit, in most cases, students will still need to take the majority of the required courses in the list, regardless of the number of transfer credits they have.

The recommended maximum academic load for distance students is seven credit hours. Although your online courses may meet for real-time sessions for approximately forty-five minutes each week, the course workload is equal to that required for the traditional on campus class, i.e. a three-credit class requires approximately nine hours of study and work.

Answer The minimum amount necessary for graduation is 30 credits but you may take more. Because of the flat (fixed) tuition rate there is no extra charge for exceeding 30 credits.

To be a full-time student you have to study 20 Swedish credits per semester (ex. 4 x 5 credit courses per semester). One Swedish credit corresponds to one week of full-time study (approx. 40 study hours per week, incl. a varying number of lectures and classes). You can not apply for more than 30 Swedish credits per semester without obtaining special permission to do so. 1 Swedish credit equals 1,5 ECTS credits or 0,75 U.S. credits.

There are 10 courses in each of the programs. Each course is 3 credits. Therefore each program is 30 credits.

The School of Arts & Sciences accepts courses of 3 or more credits. The only exception is a science laboratory of one or two credits.

We are working to obtain credits for our language courses in the US. It is not easy to obtain credit for new courses, especially in foreign language departments, and the whole process takes time. However, there are high schools, colleges, and universities that give credits to their students who take our online courses. Our language programs have also been successfully incorporated in the curricula of many homeschooled children.

To earn your degree, you must complete 36 credits and achieve a 3.0 or better grade point average. This translates to 9 courses to complete the degree. You will ordinarily enroll in one course per seven week term, though you will simultaneously enroll in courses at specified points that prepare you for your capstone experience.

If you receive a test score of no lower than 80%, you may print a certificate of completion. If necessary, you may retake the test.
