We provide repeat image files in EPS (vector) and tiff (bitmap) formats. The tiff files are full size at 300-350 dpi, and the EPS files can be sized to any size and resolution with no loss of detail. The minimum size is 600x400 pixels with a color depth of at least 16 (65536 colors) We'd love to have images that are as detailed as possible, up to the 4MB per image upload limit. 1600 by 1200 can work. Then we reduce them for the web, but save the originals for the archives. So don't be afraid to upload high resolution pictures. The preferred format is JPG.

For most documents you seldom have to exceed 150 dpi. For images that will be used with an OCR program, try to scan at 300 dpi for best character recognition. For line art such as cartoons of simple drawings, settings of 72 dpi may prove to be acceptable. The higher the dpi, the bigger the file. Note: cropping or deleting unwanted or unused areas around the actual image or information you want to save will also reduce the file size, even if the space is blank.)

Your video must be at minimum 4 seconds long. This is because it can take up to three seconds for the ad to be delivered to the end of your video once someone starts watching it. We do not have an upper limit on length of video so long as your file is under 100MB.

The combination of focal spot size and magnification determines the theoretical maximum resolution in the x-ray image. The finite spot size of the x-ray source creates a penumbra around the edges of the x-ray shadow, much like the sun casting a shadow of your hand. A larger spot size and a longer object-to-detector distance (ODD) both increase the penumbra and thus the minimum feature size detectable at the image plane.

Most common formats are jpeg, gif, png, bmp. The larger the file is, the better are details viewed. Any photos are good as long as our artists can clearly see the details of your photo.You can send whatever photos you have on hand. Your signature and logo should either be a JPG, JPEG or TIF file. The logo should be at the highest quality possible, 72 dpi is good for viewing on your computer, but the quality should be higher for printing. If you cannot find a high quality logo, you may choose to leave it off the greeting card, or use the logo anyway. The closer to 300 dpi the better. The logo should be at least 1 x 1 inches.

You can upload any .jpg image not larger than 1MB, however any image with a height or width greater than 1024 will be reduced such that its longest side is 1024. For this reason its very advisable for you to reduce your images to 1024 prior to uploading them as this will save you a LOT of time uploading.

The maximum width or height of any graphic is 260 pixels or 3.5". The GIFs and TIFs are saved at 72dpi resolution. The EPS files are high resolution and scalable to any size.

In order for the photos to look good when printed, they should be taken with a digital camera with at least 1 megapixel resolution, or scanned at at least 300 dpi.

Image size is measured in horizontal and vertical dimensions as measured in pixels. For example, 640 X 480 means the image is 640 pixels across and 480 pixels high. (Please note that size can be a true recorded size or a computer enhanced size). While this measurement provides the size of the image, the resolution refers to the detail contained within the image and is listed as lines of resolution. These lines are the number of lines that can be individually differentiated within the image.

The size is 3.5" and the resolution is 210,000 pixels. There are two focus assist modes available; one will zoom in on the center of the picture and give a 2X zoom of that image, so that focusing can be checked even during record. There is also a peaking circuit to aid in determining proper focus.

Resolution determines the quality of your image. Image file resolution is measured in PPI (pixels per inch) where pixels (picture elements) are a single point in a graphic image. Therefore, the density of pixels has an impact on image quality and print size. In general, the higher the PPI, the better your image will reproduce when it is printed.

For photographic and fine art editions, our ideal file format is a flattened RGB tiff. We also accept jpegs, PDFs, and native Adobe PhotoShop formats. Optimum image resolution is 300-360 dpi at the final size to be printed. Resolution below 150 dpi may show pixilation. Display and design files can be submitted in most popular design programs, such as InDesign, Illustrator, or Quark. Please accompany design files with image links and fonts (or outlined fonts).

For best printing results, please make sure that your image file resolution should be at least 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch). The higher the DPI is the better quality your final output will be.

This is probably one of the more popular questions we get asked, if you are setting up your image at size, 300ppi up to an image size of 30x40 is fine. Anything larger than 30x40, 150ppi to 250ppi is plenty of resolution. Keep in mind the larger you go, the less resolution is required from you file as very large prints are meant to be viewed from a distance. General rule of thumb, the diagonal dimension of the final image, is the MINIMUM viewing distance.
