Web browsers support two standard image formats: GIF (CompuServe Graphic Interchange Format) and JPEG (Joint Photographic Expert Group). Click-and-hold with the mouse over the image, you should get a pop-up menu with "Save Image As..." as an option. If your image appeared in a separate window, the program that opened it should have a save item in its menu. Simulator images should be renamed since they're automated output from a script.

The answer to this question depends on the image in question. If you want to use a Romance of the Three Kingdoms officer portrait please feel free. Even though I (or the submitter) extracted the images they are still Koei’s property. If you do so please credit us (we did all the work, after all) in a visible way. You don’t have to do that of course, it is just common Internet courtesy and impacts your Web site’s reputation.

We do not limit the number of images you can use in your slideshow. However, the ideal slideshow consists of 3-10 slides.

Some archives are very small and short-staffed so a nominal fee may be required. First, you do need to have any images you want to use in digital format (that means as a file on your computer). These images must be saved either as ".jpg" files or ".gif" files (if photos, usually you'll want to show them as ".jpg" files). In order to display properly, your images should be saved as 96 pixels per inch (this is called the resolution of the image) and should be no more than 250 pixels wide (the vertical dimension can be whatever it needs to be to look proportionate).

We ask that you not download or link images for use on a personal site or on your desktop. We will be providing special wallpapers in the near future for this exact purpose. Keep checking back.
