Peter Reich created the Swift Folder more than 10 years ago. He refined his design over the last decade and built and sold hundreds of bikes to New Yorkers. In 2004, Xootr LLC evaluated dozens of different bike designs and decided that the Swift Folder was the most elegant design on the market and licensed the Swift Folder from Design Mobility, Peter's company.

The MuseData format, developed by Walter Hewlett at the Center for Computer Assisted Research in the Humanities (CCARH), located at Stanford University Eleanor Selfridge-Field from CCARH edited a magnificent book called Beyond MIDI: The Handbook of Musical Codes. Contrary to popular belief, the name Black Sox was not given to the 1919 White Sox because of the 1919 World Series scandal. The name was given to them because they played in dirty uniforms because their owner Charles Comiskey used to charge the players .25 cents for cleaning their uniforms. The players refused to pay to have their uniforms cleaned and chose instead to play in dirty uniforms, hence the name Black Sox.
