First, you will need to provide a sound system and microphone (preferably a lapel mike) for our presenter. Second, our presenters use their own laptop computers to show a presentation which is very important to the success of the seminar. You will need to provide a screen, and in some cases, a projector. Our presenters can also plug their computers into the church’s fixed projection system as long as they are able to keep their computer near enough so that they can operate it.

All of our meeting rooms within teaching buildings are equipped with an OHP, screen and writing surface as standard which is included in the room hire price and many of the theatres and seminar rooms also offer slide projector, data and video projector. Powerpoint and internet access are an optional facility.

Call the CET at 273-7913 to reserve equipment or call 273-2342 to speak to the manager, Don Perry. Equipment also can be checked out of Room 113 in the lower level of the CET Building. Please call ahead to make sure the equipment is available. ITS will deliver equipment to the department office only, if the instructor calls ahead of time. In addition, the Library has laptop computers that are available for checkout to faculty.
