APLIC's education staff provides a full range of on-site programs, education kits and video loans, and a traveling puppet show. Education staff is available Monday through Friday year-round to help.

All students who complete the Educational Leadership program will be awarded a PK-12 Principal license if the person has taught three years. This is a foundational requirement that is required by the Iowa Department of Education. The University of Northern Iowa provides the prescribed program of study necessary for the principalship certification and certifies to the Department of Education the successful completion of that course of study.

School food service directors reported that the melons were of high quality-- “The best she ever ate,” was how Broken Arrow food service director Jill Poole put it. The melons were delivered in good condition, in a timely manner. By all accounts, the melons were extremely popular with kids, teachers, and food service. Several schools received extensive positive media coverage for the farm-to-school watermelons.

We keep our core class sizes small so each student gets individualized attention. Class sizes range from 12 - 16 students per section. The camp itself is much bigger (approx. 40-50) as it incorporates the Acting for Film, Summer Filmmaking, Dance and Photography programs. The entire group meets for evening screenings, master classes and production meetings.
