Check for your SAT scores in various places: undergraduate institution, your college transcript, or your high school transcript. You may also contact the Eduational Testing Services (ETS) for an official copy of your SAT scores. If you absolutely can't get a copy of your SAT scores, please contact the Academic Support & Enrichment Center at 252-744-2500. Because you will need these letters when you apply for medical school, it is a good time to try to reconnect with your professors.

A copy of your score report will be sent to you and the schools you list on your registration form. That might include your high school, if you list its code number, and several colleges or universities. Part of the fee for students taking the test is the cost of sending your score report to colleges, universities, and/or scholarship programs that you designate. In other words, the colleges you list on your registration form will automatically be sent your scores.

Our Student Records Department has PSAT, SAT and ACT test scores on the transcripts for some students, but only if the student provided us with his/her correct social security number and put the correct social security number on the test at the time the test was taken. Test scores are posted from a data file purchased from the testing company, so we can't be certain that all information is provided. We are under no requirement to maintain these scores, but do so as a convenience to the students.

Students may take the SAT as many times as they choose during the application year. IMSA will use the highest total. If you take the SAT the first time and receive a 590 critical reading and 600 math and then take it again and receive a 550 critical reading and 650 math, IMSA will use the second test, which is an overall higher composite score. No, not in Australia. Mensa in the USA accepts some versions of these US scholastic tests, but they are not accepted for direct entry to Australian Mensa. There are other variations in the list of tests accepted by Mensa in different countries. The local Consultant Psychologists are responsible for validating and checking external evidence, and the tests accepted reflect the local field of expertise.

If you qualify for special exam arrangements, i.e. un-timed test, readers, or a private testing room, be sure that you use this accommodation. The school cannot use the specialized testing against you when you apply to the university.

SAT or ACT scores are required for all applicants who graduated from high school after 1998. This requirement is waived for transfer students who have completed a minimum of 24 credits with a GPA of at least 2.0.

SAT scores are just one of many components of each student's application. Median SAT scores have recently been in the range of 1450-1470. If a candidate is below 1300, statistically speaking their probability of admission is lower, but they may have other outstanding qualities or accomplishments which outweigh the SAT. Conversely, a student who is above 1500 statistically has a better chance, but is certainly not assured of admission.

The SAT or ACT is required for freshman applicants. You can take the tests as many times as you want because we will consider only your best scores. We do not ask for either score as part of the application. If these scores are available, we will look at them, particularly in the case of students applying to study science or math. However, we do not value one piece of an application packet over another, but rather look at the whole student. You should submit a new application form, the Behavioral Standards Consent Form, and an up-to-date high school transcript, along with a note stating that you previously attended the program.

The chapters will take into account a participant's SAT/ACT scores along with her high school/college grades. If a Potential New Member's scores/grades are low, the chapters will have concern for the possibility of the Potential New Member experiencing difficulty in managing the time commitment required for New Member Education and a busy school schedule.

The Scholastic Assessment Test or SAT I is an aptitude reasoning test designed to predict academic success in college. The test has recently been changed to include a more substantial math section, verbal section (now called critical reading) and a brand-new writing section. The scoring for each section will remain consistent with the 0-800 range of the old SAT; the writing section will add a third score.

If none of your instructors is using Post'Em this semester, there are no scores posted for you and you should take no further action. If your instructor has not yet uploaded the scores file to Post'Em, you may want to ask him or her when it will be uploaded. If other students in your class have used Post'Em but you cannot, you should ask your instructor to check whether your username is in the scores file and spelled correctly.

There is no specified minimum, but to be competitive you should present a score of at least 600 in the mathematical section, and scores of at least 500 in the critical reading and writing sections. Scores less than these will decrease your chances of getting admitted.

We do not currently have a minimum requirement for GPA or test scores. However, the incoming class in 2007 had an average GPA of 3.31-3.88, an average SAT score of 1000-1200 (critical reading, math), and an average ACT score of 22-27.

Standardized exam scores must come directly from ACT or College Board to be considered “official.” The Honors College admission decision is made separately from and after the university's admission decision.

If your SAT scores are listed on your high school transcript, simply send us a copy along with your application. If not, you can request your scores from the Educational and Testing Service by calling (609) 771-7600 and giving them our school code, which is 2477. If you have never taken the SAT, we will accept ACT scores. If you have taken any other standardized tests for graduate or professional schools, such as the GRE or LSAT, please send us a copy of your scores with your application.
