The starting point to obtain a concealed weapons permit is to go the Albany County Sheriff’s Office located in Laramie at the County Court Building on Grand Avenue. They have the information needed to step you through the process.

Dallas County Citizens may apply for a concealed weapon permit between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday. North Dakota has reciprocity with some states. The Richmond Police Department no longer issues concealed weapons permits. By agreement, applicants are now referred to the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office for concealed weapons permits (925-335-1500).

California State Law through Penal Code sections 12050 through 12054 specifies the criteria for issuing a permit to carry a concealed firearm. General laws c. 140, § 131F allows the Colonel of the State Police or his designee to issue temporary licenses to carry to nonresidents or persons not falling within the jurisdiction of a local licensing authority. To be eligible to apply for a Washington State Concealed Pistol License (CPL) at the Renton Police Department, you must be at least 21 years of age, a U.S. citizen, and reside within the city limits of Renton. Payment of fees are due when you turn in your application. The fees are non-refundable if your application is denied. A CPL (if issued) is valid for five (5) years from the date of issue.
