It really depends on the desired result, but we can tell you what is typically done. Parallel effects devices such as reverbs, delays, or other ambient effects are usually not tracked to tape with the initial multi-tracking. Usually an engineer would like to have some time to play with the effects and decide during mix down what the reverb should sound like, once all of the instruments are recorded.

Using i-Guide, you can search many ways: through the Main Menu, Quick Menu, Search Menu, by programming category, through the By Time or Channel Listings grid or through the Search Menu to alphabetically search ty Title. Ever since Band-in-a-Box came out with the "Live Drums" feature, I have used "Live Drums" for all my styles. The biggest advantage to using the "Live Drums" feature is that I can get the drums to sound like a human drummer instead of a machine. The old fashioned drum grid sounds machine like, when properly programmed by a talented musician the "Live Drums" will sound like a human being.

I use Sonor delite drums. Two 22 " kick drums, 8", 10", 12" mounted toms, 14" and 16" floor toms, 13" and 14" snare drums. All have Remo coated (top) and clear (bottom) ambassadors drum heads. My cymbals are all sabian, (mostly HHX and a few AAX and AA) and sticks are Vic firth 55A with a wood tip. The sticks are a new model between a 5A and 5B.
