Open Windows is not being maintained so it doesn't handle Java well. Most of the problems we have seen are cosmetic, but if you find you cannot work around a problem, try CDE instead. The most confusing one is that when you first open a proposal you cannot edit any field until you touch a scroll bar. Workaround: This problem appears sporatically, but is more common when you are running APT remotely. It is benign and usually fixed by opening and closing folders in the tree. (54274)

WorldMaker's scenery editing capabilities were implemented on top of the version 7 X-Plane scenery engine. When we totally rewrote the engine for version 8, we had to remove WorldMaker's scenery editing capabilities. To edit X-Plane 7 scenery, use WorldMaker from X-Plane 7.63 (available for free download). You can use WorldMaker 8 to edit airport and nav data. The new scenery editor will be a separate program from WorldMaker.

That is the USGS Urban Area Imagery. USGS Urban is about .25m/pixel and only covers certain areas in the United States. These are the color images you may have seen. You can generally see cars with this layer. Note that it is only available for select cities, if you are not looking at the right place the images will be white. Proposal information is validated when it is read in from the proposal file.In cases where there are a large number of observations defined this validation can take several minutes, especially on slower machines. If the file type appears in the Save dialog but is grayed out, you may need to change the image type. You need to install GhostScript to be able to read PostScript files with GIMP. GhostScript can be downloaded from http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/. The chemical structures at ChemFinder are provided in CDX format. This format can be read by ChemDraw 4.0 or later, which was first available in November, 1996. If you are using a version of ChemDraw earlier than 4.0, you will not be able to open these structures. This was a feature added in Notes 4.5 to enable servers to provide a single person/group directory for multiple Notes domains. Some users have been unable to get certain Flash files to open in Microsoft Internet Explorer. There appears to be some problems with the install files for the latest version of Flash. PeopleSoft uses the IETF-8 character set for its email. Some email clients are unable to display email using this character set. Use an email client that can display IETF-8 character set. All problems regarding use of the system should be reported to the UF Help Desk - 392-HELP, helpdesk@ufl.edu.

Many of these mail programs require you to download the attachment to the desktop before opening it. Of course, you must have the appropriate software to open the file, too.

I've looked at and tried and compared dozens of other programs and I maintain my Genealogical Program Links Page with links to them. If you don't have access to a shell/command line (usually the case with third party hosting services) then you may find you can use Martin Geisler's phpShell software to achieve the desired result (unless SAFE MODE is not set for php). Installation problems are sometimes weird and hard to diagnose.

The text was already outlined to vector paths in the PDF original. This means that it was no longer composed of characters but was converted into graphics that look like text by the source application. There is nothing that pdf2cad can do about this ? it can only reproduce the vectorized text in the DXF output. If the text is still "live" in the PDF file, pdf2cad can in most cases preserve it as searchable/editable text in the DXF file.

You can use the UniConvertor for converting CDR and some other formats to SVG. In Inkscape 0.46, there's an input extension that will allow you to open or import CDR files directly from Inkscape if you have UniConvertor installed on your system. Open CDR file Corel Draw.
