No. The deposit is required within 4 workdays after you make the reservation. This deposit is initially a reservation deposit. After we receive your rent check, the deposit becomes a damage and key deposit. After we receive the keys back (which we are going to mail to you), we will send you your deposit back, assuming there is no damage.

Yes. Many RFID tags are designed to withstand years of normal wear and tear, including washing and drying. In fact, we know of at least one uniform rental company that uses RFID chips to keep track of its inventory. The chips hold up under the rough handling and commercial washings.

We make every effort to set our clients up with apartments featuring full size washers and dryers. And in almost every case that is how you’ll find your suite. In the event the apartment community does not have hookups within the individual apartments, you can be sure there will be on-site coin-operated laundry facilities instead. Be sure to carefully consult the amenities listed on each community’s info sheet or feel free to ask your leasing agent for those and any other details.

All residents have 24-hour access, everyday, to two laundry facilities with modern equipment on site. In order to keep our residents’ electricity costs and expenses down, we do not operate our laundry facilities as a profit center, and only provide the laundry facilities as a convenience to our residents.

We do not have a washer/dryer in our RV. We have the hook-ups for it, and we would recommend that everyone have the hook-ups, but take your time in deciding on the actual purchase. Originally, we were going to buy a washer/dryer before we went on the road. We thought it was a necessity for full-timers, but after doing a little more research and getting advice from other full-timers, we were not so sure. So we decided to wait, and we are glad we did.

There is no OSHA requirement stipulating that employers must purchase a washer and dryer to launder protective clothing. It is an option that employers may consider. Another option is to contract out the laundering of protective clothing. Finally, employers may choose to use disposable personal protective clothing and equipment. The decontamination and laundering of protective clothing should be handled by washing and drying the garments according to the clothing manufacturer's instructions.

All issues should be reported immediately to the Office of Residence Life. We will gladly refund money when the machines malfunction.

Some communities advertise washer and dryer connections. This means you can either bring your own full size washer and dryer and hook them up or you can rent the set from the community. The normal charge to rent the set is from $20 to $40 per month.

Yes. Bleach, as well as fabric softener, have their own compartments in the easy-to-use dispenser drawer. Simply add the bleach or softener before starting the wash, and the Am-Tech automatically dispenses it at the correct time.

Yes. The Am-Tech washer dryer combo is very energy efficient. Because the Am-Tech uses 50% less water, your hot water heater does not have to use as much energy. Also, the Am-Tech uses only 1.4 kilowatts per hour during the drying cycle as opposed to 5 or more per hour for a conventional dryer.

Some do and others do not. All apartment complexes have coin or data card operated central laundry facilities and most have clotheslines for resident use. UV 1600 and UV 1700 have full hook up for both washer and dryer. Aggie Village North and South have washer hook ups only. (link to AL floor plans should be a link here) Washers and dryers are not permitted in those apartments that are not designed for them.

No. We do not allow additional appliances in the apartments. Laundry facilities are available for your use. You will not be able to use freezers, dishwashers, or other "major" appliances.

Yes! Those bra straps can be pretty damaging to your other clothes, and you don't want to get snags in your nice lacy lingerie either. I've found that the bags also somewhat prevent pilling. For a cheap and easy alternative, I like to throw my bras in my pillowcases so that they both get washed. But for real delicates, hand wash.

Yes. Just order the 29" model with one or more optional side panels. The PW29 and PW29R units were manufactured to fit a washing machine only or a stacked washer/dryer.

Yes. Our PW29 and PW29R models are perfect for stacked units. Call us for advice regarding models with the rack feature; also, we recommend that the dryer exhaust to the side or top; not the rear. The rack feature allows for easy access to the water cut-off lever.

There is a washer and dryer, but only the maid has access to it. She will be glad to do your laundry -- please give her an extra gratuity (we suggest $2.00 per load). Or you can use the coin-operated units in the building or go directly across the street to the laundry/dry cleaners. There are hair dryers below the sink in each bathroom. There are digital safes in several of the bedrooms. Magnifying makeup mirrors are in each bathroom.

No. the Am-Tech has a patented ventless condensation drying system in which the hot air is condensed into liquid and then pumped out the discharge hose into a regular drain. This also means there is no humidity created in the area around the Am-Tech.

A low sudsing detergent, such as ALL, Fresh Start, Purex, Bold, Solo or "New Tide HE" works best. It is best to use powder, but liquid low sudsing detergent works fine. We recommend "New Tide HE" as one of the best on the market.

Thirteen to 16 gallons, compared to 30 gallons on the current American-made front-loading washers and 40 to 60 gallons on conventional top-loading washers. The Am-Tech saves you water while cleaning better!

Clothes can be taken out after the wash cycle and hung out in the fresh air. If you still want to dry some of the clothes, you simply set the dryer and start the cycle halfway on the spin cycle. The heating element turns on when the dryer timer is set.
