IGSA @ UICAmerica is quite different from what you see in india. The way ppl dress, what they eat, how they behave; everything is different. It takes a little while to get used to things here. Americans are very friendly people. In general, when you move out at nights alone avoid dark alleys and say hi and thank you to most people you see. A couple kissing at a bus stop is a very common sight and must not be given second glances. Dress casually for most occassions and you should be fine.
