Only NCI-Frederick personnel may check out books and other circulating materials. To open a Scientific Library account, please bring your work identification card to the Circulation Desk for barcoding.

Scientific Library users may use e-mail via web browsers on all public computers. Due to NCI-Frederick security concerns, some functions may be restricted. The Scientific Library can customize an alert, or current awareness search, to meet your specific needs. Please email the Biosciences Informationist, or phone extension 1094.

The Scientific Library is open to NCI-Frederick employees and authorized users during the following hours:

The Scientific Library is responsible for providing library services to Government and Contract personnel at the National Cancer Institute at Frederick. In addition, some services are offered to specific Military Organizations at Ft. Detrick. The general public may use the Library for reading during core business hours - Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am. until 5:00 pm.

The Scientific Library is located in Building 549 (map), next to the NCI-Café and Conference Center.

There are several areas available in the Library for laptop hookup. In addition, wireless connections are also available. Please ask for assistance at the Circulation Desk.

The Scientific Library sends out documents requiring translations to a company that provides such services. The translators require either an original document or a good copy. Costs will be charged back to the requestor’s center number.

NIH identification cards are issued to eligible NIH employees. To check out materials from the NIH Library, you will need to obtain a barcode from the Circulation Desk at the NIH Library.

Interlibrary Loan requests may be submitted by current employees of the NCI-Frederick ONLY. Requests are usually filled within 7 to 10 business days.

The Scientific Library has several photocopy machines that are available for copying materials from the Scientific Library. These machines are available for free use to all NCI-Frederick employees ONLY. A debit card machine is available for visitors to the Scientific Library, as well as for use by NCI-Frederick employees when copying non-Library related materials.

The Technology Training Lab is used for Scientific Library training. In addition, the Lab may be used for free by other NCI-Frederick groups who require a computer classroom setting.

Word processing software, and other office programs, are available on all the public computers in the Scientific Library's Computer Resources Area.

Swamp eels belong to the family Synbranchidae. The swamp eel introduced to the United States belongs to the genus Monopterus. There may be more than one species. Until recently scientists have used the name Monopterus albus for all U.S. populations.

You may log-in to manage your library account. After entering your log-in information you may change or view account information including your email address, items checked out, preferred searches, etc.

I didn't look at any other section in the book other than Page 99 and 100 concerning the abrupt appearance and the supernatural causation right in the middle of it. That was enough of the book for me.

You review your library record by logging into your library account. From there you may change or view account information including your email address, items checked out, preferred searches, etc.

From our home page, click on the blue My Account tab. Enter your library card barcode number from the back of your current Pierce County library card, with no spaces, along with your Personal Identification Number or PIN. (Unless you have changed your PIN, it should be the last four digits of your telephone number.) Then click Log In. You should now be logged into your account. From here you may place holds, renew items and more.

Homoeopathic system is one of the most scientific systems of medicine. The drugs are tested on human beings and the pure effects are used for the treatment of patients. The controversy generated about Homoeopathy primarily relates to the high dilutions used as medicines. The clinical efficacy of these high dilutions cannot be doubted. It is for the scientists of basic sciences to establish the quantitative and qualitative effect of these high dilutions in vitro.

The library is located on the west side of campus south of Mabee Dormitory, & the Don Morris Center. It is also located to the west of the campus center and to the north of Zellner and the Administration buildings.

Contact the Circulation Department of the Library either in person, by telephone at 201-8376, or e-mail illcirc@tcc.fl.edu . Have your TCC Access Card ready nearby when you phone. When e-mailing, include your name and the number beneath the bar code on your TCC Access Card. The TCC Access Card is your campus ID card and your Library card.

Simply click the HIP Link above and then click the My Account button at the top of the page. Enter your library card number and your PIN Number. You must call the library to have the PIN Number set up, unless it was done for you already. You will then be able to check due dates, fines, request books and check on their status, and renew materials. You will be able to search the entire Rolling Prairie Library System for materials and request items.

Go to the Libraries homepage at: http://www.umanitoba.ca/libraries/. Click on My library account located on the left-hand side menu. Enter your student number and Library PIN (or your Library ID number and PIN).

Once inside the online catalog, click on the My Account tab. Enter all digits of your library bar code without spaces. Then enter your pin number assigned to you by the Library. If you do not have a pin or have forgotten your pin. Contact your Library and they can help you. Once you are inside the catalog you have access to all your holds and requests and can check the status of your account.

Once you have a library card with your own barcode, the librarian at the desk can issue a password to you. You may also create your own password online at the PatronAccess weblink below. This password allows you to access your patron account. You will be able to see what items you have checked out and their due dates. You can also renew items and view your list of reserved items.

To open an account you need to bring your WIT ID to the Circulation Desk and fill out a registration form. The library staff will then create your account. This will allow you to check out books from our library as well as from the other libraries in the Fenway Consortium. You will also be able to access our databases from off campus.

From our online catalog, catalog.maplewoodlibrary.org, click on My Account (in left hand column, under Catalog Options) or from the library's homepage, www.maplewoodlibrary.org, move your mouse to Library Catalog at the top left of the screen, then click on My Account on the drop-down menu.

Enter the Online Catalog at http://catalog.plsinfo.org. After the catalog loads (this may take a few moments), click the Your Library Account button on the left of the screen. You will be asked for your 14-digit library card number and PIN.

Some name changes to distinguish 4- and 8-byte arguments, e.g The calls SCFFTM and CSFFTM work with 4-byte reals. The calls DZFFTM and ZDFFTM work with 8-byte reals, same syntax.
