I'm trying to do CTF correction. Did I understand it right, that the aim of the sliders it to get the theoretical curve and the "data-curve" congruent? If so, to what extent should this be done? I am curently playing around with that feature and am not sure how curves should match as I did not succeed to get everything congruent

Read:OutLoud supports TXT, RTF, HTML, XML, and PDF file types. It will support DAISY 3.0 files as well since the XML file type is part of this standard. You will need to use a scanner to scan images of the book pages into your computer. You will then need to use OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software to convert the scanned book images into an eText format that can be read by Read:OutLoud. Read:OutLoud supports TXT, RTF, HTML, and XML file types.

Artwork for all custom sign letters, plaques and logos need to be vector based. Vector--eps, ai, dxf, cdr--(not jpeg, gif or bitmap) files are required for provided production artwork. Art charges of $25.00 or more apply to non-compliant art to facilitate file conversions. NO art charges for text-only, standard-size plaques. Bitmaps, tiffs, gifs and jpegs are welcomed for layout & logo submissions.

Living Cookbook can import Living Cookbook (LCX, LC2 and FDX), Meal-Master (TXT and MMF), MasterCook 4 (MXP), MasterCook 6 (MX2), MicroKitchen Companion (TXT), Pocket Express (CSV) and Recipe Processor 2000 (TXT) files.

PanOptic supports the industry standard TIFF format, as well as many other file formats. Some examples are the Microsoft Office product suite and PDF. PanOptic can store any file format. If the file format's native application is not installed on your workstation, PanOptic will prompt you to choose an application that can view that file format.

Thumbs currently supports .JPG as read by the Intel JPEG library and .MPG as read by DirectShow in Windows and .MOV/.QT/.PNG/.PSD/.TGA/.TIF/.SGI/.RGB/.BMP files as read by Quicktime.

MP3, WMA, OGG, AAC, ASF, MAC (Monkey Audio), FLAC. A lot of other mp* files are also supported. Many mpeg video files (such as mpeg, mpg, etc.) are also supported, where AudioManage indexes the audio stream of the video files. Winamp's M3U, as well as Windows Media Player's WPL playlists are fully supported. Any folder or playlist (which are treated like folders) can be dropped to any other application or location, and converted to playlists.

The software supports a wide variety of common file formats, such as JPEG (jpg), GIF, BMP, PNG, RGB and several RAW formats.

Lightbox contains support for browsing over 150 file formats, including image file formats, digital camera RAW formats, video file formats, audio file formats, web file formats, and document file formats. Lightbox creates visual thumbnails for most of these 150 file formats. Where it is not able to create a visual thumbnail, Lightbox displays the associated icon for this file format on your computer.

UWEonline accepts teaching and learning content in a wide range of formats. DTE supports the most popular NLE file formats in today's market. These include; AVI type 1 & 2, QuickTime, Raw DV and OMF for Avid. There are also special versions of AVI that support Canopus and Matrox. What FireStore basically does, is take a raw stream of DV video from a source and packages it into a file format that a DV NLE system can understand. The streams are packaged into individual files with header information that can be used in various DV NLE systems.

We are planning to support .wav files in a future release. We are considering supporting various other formats, but most charge outrageous licensing fees for their use. We currently have no plans to support .wma or .mp3Pro.

Your final photos will arrive via online delivery. By default we deliver in the following two formats (but we can deliver in ANY format you need) These images will be reduced to a resolution of your choosing, the file size optimized, and then saved in jpeg format for easy immediate use on your website. The TLS supports all common audio formats, including WAV, BWAVE, AIFF, SDII, . MP3, and MP4/AAC. It can also support most soft sampler formats, such as EXS and NKI.

Java Sound supports the following audio file formats: AIFF, AU and WAV. It also supports the following MIDI based song file formats: SMF type 0 (Standard MIDI File, aka .mid files), SMF type 1 and RMF. If you use another program or format, for example PDF, WordPerfect, StarSuite or Scientific WorkPlace, we recommend that you convert your document to Microsoft Word or Rich Text Format (RTF) for language editing.

Pdf file is the most secure and popular kind of file in Internet, you need Acrobat Reader to open it. Nowadays every computer should have it installed in the operating system. If you cannot open the pdf file you must download the program, it is a freeware.

Any file format listed above can be imported into PhotoManager. When images are being uploaded to the web, they are converted into a .JPG file and compressed to about a 26K file.

We offer TIFF and JPEG files for print use and JPEG format for use on the web, multimedia, and other uses.

Our most common request is for JPEG format, but we're more than happy to supply photos in the format of your choice.

We require that your images be in JPEG format. Typically, this includes files with a .jpg or .jpe extension.

All that is required to support a custom file format is a Windows print mechanism, and an ability to load and print the original file via command line arguments or scripting (DDE) commands.

We use a PC to RIP files for print production. If files are produced on MAC; please make sure fonts have been outlined and files are made to PC format. File types that we can print from include ai, eps, tiff and pdf. While the background import feature of the E-Beam software provides some convenience features, it is still possible to annotate over other file formats that are not supported. To do so, you would load or access a document natively with its regular application and utilize E-Beam's projection toolbar to annotate over the document. For instance, to annotate over an Adobe PDF, which is not supported for importing, you would simply use Adobe Acrobat Reader to retrieve and display the PDF file.

Faximum stores all received faxes in TIFF-F format. This format is compatible with most graphics and word processing packages and fax images may be included with WordPerfect, FrameMaker, and other WP documents. SWIIFT [] can optionally convert received faxes into GIF format for viewing using a Web browser.

The map images are stored in a proprietary file format called .tpq. The extension allows ArcGIS to recognize this file as a raster image format, similar to a ".tif " or ".jpg" format.

SafeAssign supports Word (DOC). Plain text (TXT), Rich text format (RTF), PDF, and HTML formats. We anticipate supporting Office 2007 file format in the future.
