Writer-director-star Larry Blamire has had a life-long love of low-budget sci-fi/horror flicks and wanted to make a film that looked and sounded exactly like one, playing it perfectly straight-which of course makes it an out-and-out comedy.

If you have an idea for a film, you already have funding secured, and are looking for someone to help you make the film, then your request will be forwarded to the whole co-op. Jack did not make "Shelter". Jack and Ben Harper make brief long-boarding appearances from when they were playing the Byron Bay Blues Festival in Australia in March 2001. The 'Shelter' Crew was near the Byron Bay filming the movie, and since Jack and Ben were close by, they stopped by one day and caught some waves. Yes. Our program is designed to allow students the opportunity to make as many films as they can. Each year, students participate in over 800 productions. We encourage students to undertake their own films as well as participate on the crews of others. With so many films available to work on, our students typically gain more on-set experience than students in other film schools.

Many attribute the idea to the Holy Spirit calling God's people to use their spiritual gifts. The idea has been developing for years in dioceses with many small, rural congregations, such as Alaska and those in Michigan. The idea for Spirit of the Heartland came from local multi-church gatherings usually facilitated by Canon Missioners to discuss possibilities for the future of our congregations. The idea was formally accepted by our vestries.

This is unknown at this point. Logically, it shouldn't seeing as the film is set before Day of the Dead when zombies began to learn, however footage in the first video blog shows a zombie pushing a shopping trolley which suggests otherwise -- although this could be nothing more than "remembered" behavior. Welles definitely wanted to transcend the traditional Hollywood movie, both with Citizen Kane and Ambersons. Welles used a variety of film techniques to achieve his goal. The Post Center will honor any reasonable request to duplicate your film. You must bring your master along with your blank tape stock to the 6th floor cage. DOWNLOAD or ask for a WORK ORDER at the cage. Turnaround on duplication requests varies depending on the traffic at the Post Center. Average turnaround is 7-10 days. Due to the enormous amount of traffic, the Post Center is not in a position to turn around dub requests on demand.

All of our core courses are hands-on, or have a hands-on component, with the exception of Narrative Traditions. In most classes, students complete at least one short film.

My position is that videotaping 16mm is illegal without written permission from copyright holders. This keeps me out of court, and legal. Educational film companies have been very cooperative with ciné16, and I encourage interested parties to contact distributors directly, who will gladly sell videos. When films are out of distribution, I'd be happy to have anyone contact the filmmaker directly to discuss royalties, as many of these people are older, and could use the money.

We'd like to take suggestions for film seasons or one-off screenings, but our set-up doesn't really accommodate suggestions. No! Solar films will not make a room dark. Our light and medium shades of film will not noticeably reduce the amount of light coming into a room. Our darkest shade will reduce the light coming into a room. This film is very good at reducing the sun's glare.
