AC adapter is not available for the WS-311M. When the recorder is connected to a computer, the computer's USB port powers the device.

North American MA-3600VZ and MA-5002VZ amplifiers have 30 amp molded AC plugs, and North American MA-2402 and MT-2400 amplifiers have 20 amp molded AC plugs to meet regulatory requirements. The charging light will only come on when a headset is placed in the charging cradle. It should indicate green if you place a headset into the front charging slot. Any Audio ports on the front of your television are Audio Inputs and are not compatible with our system. Audio Outputs are located on the back of a television, and are clearly labeled Audio Out.

This is a longstanding bug with the G1 and Pro 90 IS, and a relatively new bug with the G2. With the G2, it was introduced with a new camera firmware (G2 1.0.0.0 worked, 1.1.0.0 does not). We haven't fixed this bug yet since none of the active gphoto2 developers owned one of these cameras until recently (i.e. updated his G2's firmware). Most of the countries use alternating currents (AC). DC stands for direct currents. All appliences and voltage transformers run only on AC electricity. There is no worldwide standards for the plug configuration. Plugs, plug shapes, electric outlets differ from country to country. For that reason you need to get a plug adapter, in order to plug your aplliance into foreign electric outlet. You still need a voltage converter, otherwise you might demage your applience or cause fire!

Reason #1. According to the specification sheet from the manufacturer the computer chip inside The Ultimate Zapper has a maximum tolerance of 16 volts. I have experimented with prototypes and I have produced over 16 volts with battery configurations using batteries in parallel and in series while holding the handholds.

For units with serial number 300 or higher, any 12VAC, 500mA adapter with a 2.1mm x 5.5mm coaxial plug will do. For units 299 and lower, you need 12VAC 500mA with a 2.5mm x 5.5mm plug. It depends on what you want to do with an AC adapter. If you intend to use it solely while downloading images from the camera (instead of using up the batteries), then rather than getting an AC adapter you might want to investigate one of the three data transfer alternatives (FlashPath floppy adapter, PCMCIA adapter, or external SmartMedia reader). All of these alternatives bypass the camera and use the SmartMedia card directly. More information above.

Available Recording Time and Recording Time displayed on the LCD screen are approximate indications. When recorded with the built-in stereo microphone, the frequency response is from 50-15,000 Hz. The recorder is capable of storing frequencies up to 19,000 Hz when used with an accessory microphone capable of recording those frequencies. Only manufacturer-installed operating systems are supported.

I haven't been able to find suppliers within the USA for adapters for other countries' power systems, so I can't sell you one. But you can probably find one at an electronics shop where you live. See the previous topic for the specs you need. In the UK, Maplin sell them; as of this writing their part number N57AT (500mA multi-voltage AC/AC mains adaptor) is the right thing to buy. In many Asian countries there are "electronics bazaars" that sell them.
