The series began in 1980 with the eponymous first game, conceived and written by Richard Garriot and published by California Pacific. "Ultima Dragons - Internet Chapter" refers specifically to the club that exists on the Internet, but since there really isn't an Ultima Dragons - Prodigy Chapter (so to speak) any more, the plain "Ultima Dragons" is usually used to refer to both. Also correct is the abbreviation UDIC, which stands for the longer name.
