Simply connect your coaxial cable into the HUSKYvision faceplate (the faceplate with only one coax connection) and the input jack on your cable-ready TV or VCR. A cable ready TV, VCR and a Cable Company box do not provide for this feature and in not doing so, cannot replace a converter. You must have a converter to use a descrambler. The only codes JVC has for operating other manufactures equipment are listed in your manual. We can only suggest that once you have tried all codes listed for a specific brand if they do not work, then try all codes listed for all brands.
