Yes, some of the camps will publish a list of items (clothes, shoes, and equipment) that they would like their students to bring with them. For example, the Playwriting/Screenwriting Camp recommends that each student bring a laptop computer and tape recorder with them. The acting and musical theater camps also suggest their campers bring a small tape recorder. Other camps may also list some requests in their Registration Packet.

DIN fitting is mostly used in Europe and in technical diving. The DIN fitting is a thread fitting on the tank valve. You screw the first stage regulator into the valve. All our bikes are fitted with bar bags and we can also provide racks and seat packs, so you don't need to bring anything of that nature. On most trips all you need is your personal clothing and a good pair of hiking boots. On each trip page you find information on what is needed for that trip. We can usually supply everything you need in the way of sleeping bags and back packs if you are trying to keep the weight down for your international flights.

No, complete safety equipment, including helmets, neck supports, jackets and optional rib pads, are provided free of charge. In addition, you are required to pre-purchase and wear a head sock ($5) if you will not be bringing your own helmet (see below). You are only required to wear long pants and closed-toe tennis shoes, although we do recommend that you also bring a jacket or windbreaker, hat and sunscreen.

Your team must have at least one pair of walking poles. With the assistance of poles an injured person can be helped off the mountain preventing a full scale rescue. The head torch is vital for night climbs or poor visibility. Even in the height of summer you will need full waterproofs as conditions can change.
