Yes, Amy's Kosher certification is from Rabbi Dov Hazdan of Ner Tamid K in Staten Island, NY. Amy's became certified in November of 2003. With two exceptions, Amy's products are certified as Kosher Dairy or Kosher Parve as noted in our special diets section. Amy's Low Sodium Marinara and Amy’s Light in Sodium Vegetable Lasagna are the only Amy's Kitchen products that are not certified Kosher due to the presence of non-kosher red wine vinegar.

Agel is currently in the final stages of certifying the products with the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America (Orthodox Union). Confirmation of Agel's Kosher certification will be forthcoming. Agel is also in the process of obtaining other Kosher certifications in Israel. No. Although we do not use any animal sourced ingredients or animal by-products in the formulation of any of our products, none of our products are certified as being kosher or vegan. We cannot afford to own our own manufacturing facilities, so all of our products are produced at various third-party production facilities.

We represent a Kosher Line of Hors d'oeuvres: Kosher Gourmet Hors d'oeuvres. They are all Star-K certified. There are seven delicious varieties in all!
