The library uses the MNPals online system as our card catalog. MNPals is located at http://riverland.mnpals.net/F. On the reverse side of your student ID card you will find your 14 digits library number. The library password is your last name. Books and More on the library website identifies many databases students can use for information. Many articles are available in full text, meaning you can read the article on your computer screen or print to your printer.

this time, the authentication server is used only for providing off-campus access to online resources (databases, electronic journals, e-books) subscribed by the ACC libraries. Almost all online library resources are made accessible to off-campus users this way. There are a few online resources that have special restrictions imposed by the vendor limiting their use to a particular building or to a particular department. Off-campus users will not have access to these resources.

COM Library's online resources that require login consists of both databases and eBooks. Access them from the same pages that you would on campus. The SpamBayes announcements list is a low-volume list where announcements about new releases are posted. The SpamBayes checkins list receives summaries of all the changes to the SpamBayes software. This is generally only of interest to developers. The SpamBayes bugs list receives copies of all the bug, patch, support request and feature request reports that are submitted via the sourceforge system.

Online students have access to the Minnesota West libraries web site. You can search the library MnPALS catalog and order books through interlibrary loan. The Periodicals/Database page provides access to 20+ databases of full text articles and full text subject reference resources. The Web Links by Subject page links to hundreds of general and subject websites to assist you in your research.

Many of the library's full-text articles are in PDF format. Adobe Reader is required to view PDF files. It is free and can be downloaded by clicking on the following graphic. Firewalls and pop-up blockers will sometimes interfere with access to library databases. If you are experiencing problems viewing library resources, try turning off or disabling these features.

Endnote is a program that allows the user to easily create bibliographies for papers and projects while researching inside the Online Catalog or various online databases. Endnote may be used to directly search the Online Catalog and certain databases or information downloaded from databases can be imported into Endnote for use as well. The LSU Libraries has information on Endnote and the files a user would need to use it in conjunction with our databases available at this webpage.

Access to online resources is available from the U of M Libraries' home page. Many resources are available only to U of M students, staff, and faculty. For these, you must login using your Universal User Identification (UUID) and ph password, which are available from the Information Technology Division or by swiping your University of Memphis ID card in a TigerLAN lab.

No. Although the majority of the University Libraries' materials are available to all are users there are a few that are only accessible from campus, hardwired computers. If you are having difficulty accessing any of these resources please contact the library and we will try to help you get the materials you need. Some of the library’s electronic resources are restricted to IP addresses on campus and others are available by password or for free online. When you’re off campus (if you live in the RC, your room is considered off campus), the best way to get access to as many library resources as possible is to log in to The View and select the library Tab. You will be able to search the database of journals as well as use the Citation Linker and obtain the list of passwords.

Yes. Access to Periodical and Newspaper Databases is provided through the SWIC Library homepage. Once you have enrolled as an online student, you will receive username and password information for the Library Electronic Databases thru the mail. Books may be checked out using your SWIC Library Card at the Belleville Campus Library, Sam Wolf Granite City Campus Library, and Red Bud Public Library.

For technical reasons, not all databases available at the University of Alberta can be Get It enabled. However, we are enabling Get It for all databases for which it is possible. Likewise, it is not possible to use Get Itto link to all full-text articles. We are adding any online resource to the Get It Knowledge Base for which linking is possible.
