The school opens at 8.40am every day. Classes end for the Infants at 1.20pm and for First to Sixth classes at 2.20pm.

The Infant, Toddler, Full-Time Preschool, and School-age Programs open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 5:30 p.m. and operate all year, closing only for designated ISU office holidays. The Flex-care Preschool Program opens at 8:30 a.m. and closes at 5:00 p.m. and is open during ISU's fall and spring semesters. The Flex-care Program is closed during all ISU student breaks. The Morning-Only Preschool is open from 8:30 to 12:30. It is also closed during all ISU student breaks.

In the morning it can be difficult to get your child with ADHD prepared. So you need to set up a specific system. bull; For the forgetful type, be proactive and make sure that everything they need to take has been prepared the night before. bull; For the foot-draggers, leave plenty of time and use a kitchen timer if necessary. After you’ve woken them, set the timer for 5 minutes. Then set it for 10 minutes before you want to leave. Don’t rush your journey.

The first time that the Windows SharePoint Services company web site is launched, the Internet Information Services (IIS) World Wide Web worker process must start (usually 10-20 seconds). Subsequent requests are processed immediately because the process has already started. If the Windows SharePoint Services site is not accessed for an extended period of time (the default is 11 hours), the same delay will occur the next time the site is accessed.

The first bell rings at 8:05 a.m. At this time children line up to go to their classrooms. At 8:10 a.m. the tardy bell rings. At this time the children should be in their classrooms and ready for the morning announcements so instruction can begin promptly following the announcements. Please be sure to have your child here and on time each day. School will start on Monday, August 20, 2007. Remember to bring your child to Orientation on Friday, August 17 from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m.

Students are not permitted in the classroom before 7:50am. If your child is not eating breakfast he or she should enter through the back doors (by Even Start) and wait there, they will be supervised by Carrollton Staff. Pre-K students may be dropped off in the back hallway beginning at 7:30am. The back door will be locked at 7:50am, if you arrive after 7:50am your child will need to be dropped off at the front doors.

The Whittier Adult School is open from 7:30 am to 10:00 pm Monday through Thursday and from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm on Fridays. You may call the Office during these hours at 562-698-8121 extension 1300.

Our playground will be open after school from dismissal to 6:00 p.m. (Tuesdays from 1:19 - 6:00). The after-school playground follows LAUSD rules. Children must follow the direction of the playground supervisor(s). We ask for your understanding in this matter. If your child does not follow these guidelines, your child will be restricted from the after-school playground and will need to picked up directly after school is dismissed.

We open at 7:30 a.m. Blood tests and ultrasounds need to be performed before 10:00 am in order to get the results back before the end of the same day.

Getting between Bangkok (Suvarnabhuni Airport) and Don Mueang. The best and quickest means of transfer between airports would be by taking a taxi. There is no bus/shuttle service between Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang Airports. Arriving passengers at Suvarnabhumi should take the Airport Shuttle Express (this service is free) from the airport to the bus terminal and then take the public bus which will pass Don Mueang. The bus stop is in front of the terminal. The fare is Baht 34.

There are no restriction on hours for minors 16 years of age and above. (No cutoff hour; no maximum number of hours per day). If school was in session on Friday, that day is considered a school day. According to state law, the minor cannot work more than 4 hours. However, if the employer is subject to the FLSA, the minor cannot work more than 3 hours. If school is not in session on any particular day during a school week, according to state law, a minor can work 8 hours on that non-school day.

Governors need to be able to attend governors meetings, usually between 3 and 6 a year. They will also be asked to sit on a committee of the governing body that specialises in a particular aspect of the school, for example, the finance committee, the premises committee, the curriculum committee, or perhaps a committee or working party linked to a particular local or national initiative: perhaps The Every Child Matters Agenda.
