Some dogs eat grass first thing in the morning if it has Jew on it, as it must taste good. If your dog is bright and alert, I would not be concerned. I have had my cat for just over 3 years and in the last year or 2 she has been having problems keeping down her food. She can't keep down, mince, canned food, dry food etc.
