Our shirts are 100% pre-shrunk cotton unless otherwise indicated in the item's description. Many of our girls (juniors) tees are poly/cotton blends, as described on their pages.

If you have high quality 100% cotton shirts from different brands, and you wash them with hot water, all of them have shrunk. If you feel that some have and some haven't, that's because some manufacturers make sizes with shrinkage in view and some do not. Neither of them is better, is up to you to know how you care your shirts and ask in the store whether the shirt is cut for shrinkage or not.

No you can only sublimate to polyester / acrylic type materials like the Vapor Micro Performance Line Shirts. Which uses 100% micropoly with wicking tech.

Polyester is man-made and the properties can be changed. Many articles of clothing now include polyester. Polyester rope is bright white where as cotton rope is more of a beige color. Polyester rope will last longer outdoors then cotton rope. Some people say that cotton rope is more comfortable then polyester. This is largely a matter of opinion.

We prefer not to, given that 100% cotton is not only preferred by most consumers but also a heck of a lot easier to work with. Dyes used on polyester shirts have a nasty habit of sneaking into inks, which requires the use of special inks that are both more expensive and harder to use. The difference between cotton and cotton/poly blend is often a matter of personal taste. 100% cotton is very popular in because it is comfortable, cool and available in a great variety of styles and colors. It is a natural fabric, more absorbent than the cotton/polyester blend, and "breaths" better.

Our 100% cotton sheets do have a crease resistant treatment, but a light iron may be required if necessary.

No. In most cases, 100% cotton is flammable. It can ignite and continue to burn after being exposed to an ignition source. Many people understand the burning and melting hazards of nylon and polyester fabrics, but fail to recognize the danger of wearing 100% cotton when exposed to an ignition source. However, cotton can be a good fabric to wear underneath proper FR clothing (See FAQ #9).

The only correct answer though, is that it depends. Some toys such as a set of wooden blocks takes much less time than a more complex toy such as a truck or car so the elves who make complex toys tend to make fewer per day than the elves who work on other toys. We are often asked this question from clients in the home furnishing industry as they often require to sublimate onto furniture with fabric that is part polyester and cotton. Generally speaking, the higher the percentage of polyester in the fabric the better the sublimation results. At minimum we recommend a blend of 60% polyester - or in other words the majority of the fabric should include polyester.

The industry traditional standard is to use 100% cotton lining, but you can use any lining that is to your liking or to the preference of your customer.

Neither is BETTER, per se. It is mostly just a matter of personal taste. But for you, one may be a better - or smarter - value. cotton certainly has a higher connotation of quality. Simply put -- some people just like it and think it's worth more money. Cotton is more breathable making it more comfortable in warmer environments. But remember, cotton (even pre-shrunk which most shirts are) does shrink. And cotton wrinkles. GENERALLY runs a little less money per shirt.

Using 100% cotton tampons is thought to reduce the risk of TSS but it still doesn't remove it. The only way to prevent TSS caused by tampons is not to use them.

We do not recommend the removal of any valves as a 100 watt amplifier is designed to work with four power valves the removal of two can and will cause damage. One way to reduce the output of the amplifier will be to use a power soak this gives you a lower physical output allowing you to turn the amplifier higher to achieve the tone you are after.
