On average it takes about three months before a sculpture is ready. The finishing is a very time consuming process.

Ice sculptures set up indoors will last approximately 6-7 hours depending on the design. Sculpture longevity set up in direct sunlight or at an outdoor event without the proper ventilation will vary according to the temperature.

This depends on whether you have chosen to have a plain or decorative finish, freestanding or on a base, etc. If you want your casting ready to be displayed at your wedding (for example, next to the cake or even as a cake-topper) then I recommend coming for a casting session about 8 weeks before the day. I can sometimes do rush jobs, but it's best to book early. If you're not fussed about displaying it on the day, then obviously it's not available any sooner/later but that won't matter so much.

That depends on the kind of sculpture you choose, and the time of year (it pays to book early for Christmas, Valentine's Day or Mother's Day which can be very busy). Bear in mind that plaster retains moisture for several weeks before it can be safely sealed. Some companies promise a very fast turnaround but may be compromising the longevity of your cast by not allowing full curing time.

Each piece I create comes from the heart and is a part of who I am, so each piece reflects a lifetime. However, I know that's not the answer you're looking for. It varies. Small, simple pieces can take as little as a few hours, though that is rare. Many pieces take days or even weeks to finish. A few large (think life-size) pieces I've created have taken many moons of labor and love.

When a sand sculpture is built outdoors, it can stay there for months. So far, the Dutch record is 1 year and 9 months: a sand sculpture in Madurodam, which even survived the winter. The outdoor record in California is 2 years. If a sculpture is built indoors, then it can remain intact for decades, if not touched.

Before I began to prepare for GRS, if I was going out it took me six hours to get ready. The first step was a complete body shave. That took about two hours, including a shower afterwards. Four hours before I was going out I would shave, then let my face settle down for about a half hour afterwards. The hosting will usually be set up with in 24 hours after confirmed payment. You should get a confirmation email with the login settings. Sometime it might take up to 24 hours for the DNS to propagate. However, the most usual for new accounts with newly registered domains is that it works with in 12 hours time. In order to set up a hosting account with email, ftp, www-access etc. we need a domain name or a SUB-domain.

After you make your payment, it usually take less than 24 hours before you can view your logo. If you have any modification requests, it can take anywhere between 10 minutes to 6 hours before your logo is updated.
