During normal shooting, the photographer's face and the camera's eyecup work together to shade the viewfinder and prevent light from entering the camera's metering system through the viewfinder. When the camera is on a tripod or Live View is enabled, light can enter the viewfinder from behind the camera because the photographer may be standing away from the camera.

This depends upon a number of factors including the focal length, the steadiness of your hands, and vibrations caused by the mechanical parts of your camera, e.g., mirror slap in SLRs. If your lens has a (35 mm equivalent) focal length of X mm, then a good rule of thumb is to shoot at 1/X or faster. Small movements of the camera shift the image more at long focal lengths.

In the default AUTO AF Frame Selection setting, the camera measures the distance to the subject using the three AF frames in the viewfinder and selects the most appropriate AF frame. If the subject is complex or the camera is moving, it may cause the camera to take more time selecting which AF frame to use. The camera will respond more rapidly if only one AF frame is selected ? the center AF frame, for example.

Answer: -- ALWAYS start observing with the lowest magnification eyepiece available until you become skilled in the use of your telescope. This will be the eyepiece marked with the BIG number (longer focal length ), not one of the smaller numbers. Again, the number you see on the eyepiece is the focal length, not the magnification.

Answer: -- Once you have located an object with your low magnification eyepiece, move the telescope so the object is as close to the center of the field of view as possible. Replace the low magnification eyepiece with one of higher magnification. If the object is not visible after you have changed to the high magnification eyepiece , go back to the low magnification eyepiece and start again.

There is a variety of different digital eyepiece cameras available designed specifically for use with standard (monocular, binocular, or trinocular) microscopes. The Dino “AM” and “EM” series are compatible with both the 23.2 and 30mm diameter ocular tubes found on most standard microscopes.

Shutter priority mode is similar to fully automatic mode, except that you pick the shutter speed. Metering works the same way, but with the shutter speed fixed there is exactly one aperture that will provide the correct exposure in the exposure table. This is what the camera picks for you.

The Blimp is designed to be very stable, even in winds up to 20 MPH. (The SkyDoc Balloon is even more stable, up to 110 MPH) Because of the heavy duty construction of the Floatopod, winds can be much higer. The tail fins orient the blimp and SkyDoc Balloon, keeping its nose pointed into the wind. The Blimp will fly perfectly if it is setup correctly (slightly nose high). Floatograph's Tether Harness allows for perfect setup regardless of camera placement.

This is a useful thing to be able to do if you're, say, photographing insects, birds, or other unpredictable subjects. You simply can't hold the shutter open waiting for the subject to do its thing. Although the photogate trigger kits described on the HiViz site are designed for triggering flash units, we've used them successfully to trigger some camera shutters. For example, we've used the Nikon MC-22 remote cord to trigger Nikon D1/D1x cameras with a photogate.

Tejasvi - I believe you can’t do it in W700i; but I’m not sure on it, the behavior might vary based on the firmware too. I think its not possible to remove shutter sound in W700i. That option is available only in latter phones. You can make the phone to silent mode and then take pictures, in this case the shutter sound will also go into silent mode. For manual (Not FTZ) series of Flash Guns, you will need a 4P Synchro Cord C [37343] which will connect from the x-sync on the lens to flash gun.

There are advantages and disadvantages to both types. The handheld digital microscope with the built in camera is more portable and versatile and can provide up to a 360 degree view perspective but is usually more expensive. Digital camera eyepieces for microscopes are generally less expensive and can be adapted for use as an accessory with any standard microscope. Many new digital cameras offer several different settings for applying sharpening to images in-camera. Which one should you use? If you have a sophisticated image editing program, you should use the lowest possible sharpening setting. Why? The correct amount of sharpening to apply will depend upon the dispay method used for the image (printing, LCD, CRT, etc.) as well as the final size of the image and the content of the image itself.

Some cameras are designed for this, so you should check your manual. It's rare to find this feature in high quality digital cameras, but lower quality multifunction cameras with CMOS sensors sometimes offer this. See, for example, AipTek. If your camera doesn't already support some webcam features, you may still be able to do it if you have a video capture card (or USB device) of some kind, by connecting the video out from your camera to the video in on your PC.

It is not recommended to use any eyepiece lower than 32mm on telescopes with aperture of smaller than 8". If 40mm is used as a low magnification eyepiece for a 6" telescope, you are risking seeing the secondary mirror. So for a good low magnification view on a 6" Newtonian you should use a 32mm eyepiece.

The G cameras are interlocked so that if your camera is in AUTO mode and a shutter speed faster than 1/200 second is selected and the flash is turned on, the shutter will not release as the shutter speed is not synchronized with the flash light's duration. Use a smaller aperture or a slower film.

Answer: -- The magnification of any eyepiece used with your telescope will be the focal length of the telescope (consult your manual) divided by the focal length of the eyepiece. A telescope with a focal length of 1200mm will yield a magnification of 60x when you insert a 20mm eyepiece into the focuser. A telescope with a focal length of only 600 mm, however, will yield only 30x when used with the same 20mm eyepiece.

Is it possible to create an autorun slide show with music on a CD, and also on the same CD put more photos that they can view separately? I do not want these extra photos to be shown in the autorun side show.
