Park homes are constructed to British Standard BS3632 under carefully controlled workshop conditions, before being thoroughly checked and transported to the park. Here they are sited on a concrete base and connected to all mains services such as electricity, drainage and sometimes mains gas.

Construction time varies depending on the time of year you order your home - some seasons are busier than others. When we're busy, we can usually ship your new home in no more than three months. At other times, your home may be ready to ship in eight weeks or less.

Yes. Every new home should be tested for radon after occupancy. Test your home even if it has the radon resistant features. Test kits are inexpensive and may be purchased at your local hardware store, or call the National Safety Council's Radon Hotline (800-767-7236) to order a test kit.

We sell home plans throughout the United States and may not know exactly where they are built. If we do know the exact location, we do not release that information in order to protect the privacy of our customers. In some cases, we publish an actual photograph of the home that the builder or customer has shared with us.

Pinnacle and Ritz-Craft modular homes are constructed in a climate controlled environment using state of the art engineering and assembly line techniques. They use the same brand name building materials and they build to the same building code requirements as any local "stick builder". State or independent third party inspectors carefully inspect each home we build.

Home owners generally first get a letter of committment from the lending institution that will be providing the permanent financing. The home owner then gets a construction loan that is paid out during the construction process based on progress reports by the builder and inspections by the lender. Off-Site Built home can be called many terms in the industry. They are commonly referred to as panelized homes or modular homes. They are built in a factory to the same state and local building codes as homes built on site. The home is then carried in sections by special trucks to the building site where a local builder puts it together.
