Many students come to campus already having experimented with alcohol. One of the strongest predictors of alcohol use in college is the student's social life in high school (Bucholz, 1990; Jacob and Leonard, 1994). FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol, and is a way of uploading and downloading file between a local computer and a server somewhere else. If you change your pad often enough, your PIMPs won´t smell. PIMP pads are made of cloth, allowing moisture to evaporate. That's common for the pH papers made out of paper. But if you get the plastic strips (like the Mercks ColorpHast that everyone here talks about) this problem majically disappears.The paper ones soak up water which throws of the reading. Plastic doesn't soak up water. The only potential problem with the papers is if you are colorblind. I am a bit, and sometimes I have trouble reading them, depending upon the lighting. The answer depends on the year and focus. Currently, more classes for the first year are held on the UM campus because rooms are more readily available there. Most imaging classes are held at UT. Other classes are distributed. All engineering classes outside BME are held at UM; medically related classes are held at UTHSC. Most, but not all, “math-like” classes are at UM; the major exception lies with UTHSC’s Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology.
