What the heck is the Center of Gravity?
Steadicam FAQThere is one place on any object where you can push, pull, tug, yank, or throw it without adding rotation: its **Center of Gravity** (which I will be calling the **Center of Mass** throughout the rest of the document). The terms "Center of Gravity" and "Center of Mass" are equivalent in this context; any difference between the two is far smaller than the precision with which human fingers can make adjustments.
