To read your e-mail, GOTH.NET offers 3 options. You may either logon to the GOTH.NET web-based email client, use your own mail client (such as Outlook Express) to read your email, or have your email forwarded to another account (such as Hotmail, etc). To read your email using the GOTH.NET web-based email client, click here. Once you login, you will automatically open up into your INBOX. On the left side, you will also notice other folders (Sent, Drafts, etc).

Login to the GOTH.NET web-based email client. Under the Options menu, you will see a submenu called "Personal Information". Under this menu you will see an option called "Forward Emails To". SLED is an information delivery service. The State Library and the Rasmuson Library pay all telecommunication costs associated with SLED. You can upload your contacts from your email account into your Send and Give address book. Just go into your email account (Hotmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc) and follow instructions to download your contacts into a .txt, .tab or .csv file. Once you have done that just use the Upload contacts feature in My address book to upload the email addresses from that file. Account manager is a secure channel for sending us an email. To successfully send us an email through account manager, you will need to log in to your account using your personalized login ID and internet banking password. To read your account email from off-campus you must have access to the Internet with a web browser (i.e. Internet Explorer). You can access our student email web server via CentralPipeline. Go to http://pipeline.ccsu.edu and enter your Username and Password. Problems sending and receiving mail are rarely related. See FAQ Questions 1 and 2 for information on how to track down each end of the problem. If the problem affects one particular service, then it's possible that there is a communications block between that service and AOL. Try contacting that service's Postmaster to see if they are aware of problems both sending mail to and receiving mail from AOL.
