SPARC's Statement of Intent (SOI) is essentially a planning document that sets out what we aim to achieve over the next three years, and the milestones we'll use to measure our progress. SPARC's Statement of Intent also sets out how government funds are being invested in the sport and recreation sector.

Your statement of intent should be no more than two double-spaced, typewritten pages, in normal font (Times New Roman 12). In it, you should give us a clear and vivid understanding of how you came to be interested in the study of theology, why you want to pursue it at the graduate level, why you are interested in the area of study to which you are applying (i.e., Biblical Studies), and why you want to do the MTS at Notre Dame (in contrast to any other school).

SPARC was formed in 2003 from a? merger of three organisations: the Hillary Commission, the Sports Foundation and the policy arm of the Office of Tourism and Sport. The merger was recommended by a review carried out by the Ministerial Taskforce on? Sport, Fitness and Leisure (2000). The review also recommended that the newly formed organisation be given a new name.

No. The SPARC Card works through an access code (like a PIN number). This means you can make up your own "card" with only the access code on it, so the card cannot be traced back to SPARC. You may make an unlimited number of cards, with as much or as little information on them as you like. Some parents send several duplicates with the child in case one or more gets lost. You're welcome to copy the sample below and modify it as necessary.

Membership in SPARC numbers approximately 200 institutions in North America, Asia, and Australia. An additional 100 institutions belong to SPARC Europe, formed when SPARC worked with the Ligue des Biblioth?ques Europ?ennes de Recherche (LIBER) and other European organizations to establish this offshoot.
