UWM's CMS will be made available to campus in a controlled rollout. Those who wish to be early adopters are asked to complete the online survey no later than Feb. 9, 2007. After an analysis of the proposals, those selected to convert their existing sites will be notified no later than March 16. A complete campus rollout of UWM's CMS is expected during the summer of 2007.

You don't need to have technical programming knowledge or expertise to use UWM's CMS. Content updates are done using commands similar to those found in Microsoft Word; i.e., content can be updated on the Web site without the use of html. Other commands are prompted through the use of simple icons.

Short courses from I&MT will be offered to train site administrators as well as Web authors, editors and publishers. Manuals and tutorials will be accessible online. Conversion to UWM's CMS will require an individual and/or a team to manage the project. In addition, a site administrator should be named to manage the site once it is converted. Investigate if content should to be presented in a different way (an indication that the site map and navigation should be changed) Examine issues with usability and functionality (pointing to the need to restructure how the content is presented) See the section entitled Getting Started.

No one will be forced to use UWM's CMS. However, the advantages of using a CMS and the ability to share content among users of CMS will be a strong motivator for adopting the system.

Sure can. Simply send CMS an "AddBefore" command and your new content will be inserted before the current content in your content window. If you prefer to have it added at the end then send an "AddAfter" command instead.

You can imbed JavaScript into the CMS by imbedding your JavaScript code into any content item using the "Code" view of EditLive!. Simply imbed your JavaScript code into wherever it's appropriate. Note: you won't be able to view the JavaScript code in EditLive! Instead, you will see a <SCRIPT> icon wherever the Javascript is located. To test the JavaScript code, view it in Preview.

The content management console is accessible via the internet through IE5.5+ and FireFox on a PC. You can use it from any PC connected to the internet.

When CMS announced the ICD data-reporting requirement in January 2005-via the National Coverage Determination process-hospitals were instructed to begin submitting data to the QNet's ICD Abstraction Tool. This tool allowed CMS to begin obtaining ICD data as soon as possible by using the existing contract with the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care.

Content management system breaks up the presentation and content by using templates. There are systems that restrict templating. But others don't offer restrictions. There are also systems that impose restrictions on how the site is hosted. So when looking for a CMS, consider asking the supplier about the restrictions of the system.

CMS also has an FAQ document for their Medicaid data files. Some of the topics addressed include detailed information on eligibility codes, waiver program data, dually eligible data, M-SCHIP and S-SCHIP, managed care data, file records, MSIS versus MAX data files, the identification of long term care residents and data quality of the MAX files.

You may be able to obtain more recent claims data directly from a state. Files available from states may be in the form of MSIS data tapes or other state specific file formats. MSIS tapes will be organized by the year that the claim was paid, not the year of service, as is true for MAX files. MSIS files also are not in the format of final action claims, meaning the researcher will need to apply algorithms or otherwise determine which claims were finally paid and settled.

There is a great deal of flexibility in how you can create content in the Rhythmyx CMS. There are specific content types that are available, as well as variants of these content types which allow them to be used in a variety of ways. You will have your own very easy to use Administration Area in which you can Edit content, Add Content and Add Photos in your web site through a WYSIWYG editor. We will set up the entire site for you, and then you can make any changes you wish. There is a complete help section within your Admin Area which should answer all your questions, and if not, we offer free online support for as long as you have your site with us.

RSS feeds are great for driving traffic to your site. Subscribers get a headline only, and they must link back to your site if they wish to get the whole version of the RSS feed. They also improve your Search Engine Optimization by increasing the number of active external links to your site. So RSS feeds tend to increase the number of visitors to your site.

The current answer is no. Why? Because the CMS module was designed as a module, an add-on. It takes advantage of the Phprojekt functions. Currently, it cannot be separated easily. Maybe in a later release this option will be offered, but for now the answer is no. But, if you are a developer, this is a hint: all database functions, user-related variables and the group information is from Phprojekt. If you can substitute them, you are done.

Here is where you also define the default headertag text.

The CMS is built on the concept of different 'sections'. A section is merely a part of the CMS that has a specific purpose. On the front end of the main sections that you'll see at work is the Category section and the Page section. These two sections are the core of what allows you to use the CMS to build a complex website. You'll also notice that there are links to the Built-in Sections listed. These links take you to the selected manager.

The way templates work with our CMS is not much different from building any templated website. But you don't have to worry about this too much because when you purchase the Asazi CMS Basic we set up the template for you. If you wish to change the template later, we'll provide more detailed information to allow you to easily do this. All you need to know to change your template is HTML. After you click on the template you wish to work with, you'll get a page that looks like the image below.

The configuration manager allows you to change some of the configuration of the CMS. Under most circumstances you will set these values initially and probably not change them again unless you later wish to change the way your site is setup. These are settings for the site including the secure URL to use for the site, document directory name and image directory name that are used by the file manager.
