No, Alvarion does not manufacture an Electro-magnetic Interference filter for the CAT-5 ethernet cable. We recommend that the installer ground the shield of the cable at the building entry point as required by the local electrical codes. Alvarion does not have a lightning protection unit designed to protect the outdoor DS.11 products. Alvarion does recommend that the shield of the CAT-5 cable be grounded at the location the cable enters the building, as per your local electrical code.

It is possible to damage equipments when playing with PC vidoe hardware and workstation monitorts. If the monitor has standard video inputs, is workign properly, cable is properly constructed and everything is connected to properly grounded power outlet then the risk of damaging the graphics card is minimal. Answer: It has been report that this problem occurs when you format the card using your PC, rather than your N-Gage. So as a rule of thumb always format the memory cards with you N-Gage only. A possible solution is to format the card in a card reader connected to the computer, and formatting the card using the FAT 16 file system should work. This should remove any residual corrupted files, then you can format it again in the N-gage in order to get the correct file structure.

Digicanon has an uploader for the A610 on his page which you can use to upload the firmware files to the A610 without a card reader. This uploader may work also for other camera models, I've used it for A620. There is a textfile named "FirmInfo.txt". It contains this text: "[Firmware File Name]". Just change the name below it into the filename you want to upload. Then save the text file and start the UploadFirmware.exe. You have to do this two times: 1x for PS.FIR and 1x for DISKBOOT.BIN.
