Students can view syllabi or course evaluations for SIPA classes regardless of whether they have registered for the class. In the upper right box under “Search Courses” enter the four-digit course number (e.g., for the course INAF 4595, enter 4595). A list of courses will appear. Click "View” next to the course name to see the syllabus. Click on “Search Courses” in the left menu bar.

The syllabi that are posted on the website are just samples. They contain the first several pages, not the full syllabus. Most CLU course syllabi are between 20 and 50 pages.

There are set course books for each of the courses ECC offers. Group classes will have a suggested syllabus, for example Units 1 to 4 of our elementary general English course book in a thirty-hour course. Students receiving individual tuition usually have a more flexible syllabus, based more precisely on the individual needs of the student, and paced according to their ability. EON results are viewable over the web as soon as the deadline for grades to be turned in has passed (typically a few days after final exams). Faculty can log on to the EON system and view their full evaluation results. Department administrators can also view the results if the faculty member gives permission in EON. No paper results are mailed to faculty or administrators. Both parties will be e-mailed when results are available.

You can log in and view sites in multiple sessions during the day until you have viewed the minimum of twenty-four (24) sites. Our system will total the number of sites viewed, and you will see the ?accumulated? total as you initiate another viewing or surfing session. Please keep in mind that the total will be displayed correctly when you view the 2nd site in rotation. You can view up to fifty (50) sites to earn extra credits.

The available period for completing course evaluations varies by term. Generally, for the Fall and Spring terms, mid-semester evaluations are available for completion during weeks six through eight (6-8) of the term while end-of-semester evaluations may be completed during the final two weeks of instruction for these terms. The evaluation period closes on the last day prior to the official start of the final examination period.

Yes. At the beginning of each course evaluation period, any student who has evaluations to complete will receive an email to this effect. During the evaluation period several reminders are sent out to students who have not yet completed their course evaluations.

You will need to sumbit a separate evaluation request for each course you wish to have evaluated. For courses with multiple sections, please indicate if you would like all sections or specific sections evaluated.

You may request evaluations for multiple sections of the same course using a single evaluation request form. Be certain to either check the "All Sections" box or provide a list of sections to be evaluated in the space provided. If you wish to use different evaluation forms for different sections you will need to submit separate requests.

There is no single place to upload a syllabi per se in Catalyst, rather the elements of a syllabus are separated out into the Course Description with texts, Policies: grading, attendance, etc. However, a popular option has been for faulty to cut and paste their syllabus into the course description text box. Faculty have also posted their syllabus as an attachment to the first day their class meets. Check to see that you are viewing the correct semester.
