We take many things into consideration when quoting our jobs such as complexity of form (inlayed objects, integral sinks, knockouts, etc.), technique (poured-in-place vs. precast), logistics (travel time to job site, level of protection of job site, etc.), and size of job.

You can not put a square foot price on art. It is not wall or floor covering. It is for the most part a permanent fixture that expresses not only the personality of the artist but of the owners for which it was designed. We can provide estimates, but only after we have the answers to certain questions.

When you order from our web site you input numbers of tiles that you want. The prices are specified next to the pictures by both tiles and by sq. ft. Each tile is 2.69sqft.

The easy answer is between $50 and $60--for the most part. Obviously, a little 36' ranch with no options isn't going to be the same price as a 76' long tri-level with $16,000 worth of options. We build both, though. This question is actually a little misleading, though. A simple rectangular home without many interior log walls would be considerably less per square foot for a similar size home with interior log walls, additional corners, stairs and handrails, etc.

The type of fabric, core material, wall surface, design layout, and size of the job are all factors that will determine cost. Most fabrics range in price from $6.50 to $30 a yard; core materials can run from $0.25 to $3.00 per square foot. A complex layout that has many obstacles, such as, windows or electrical outlets will add to the price. There are a number of things that can cause the cost of the project to vary. One of the things is the preparation of the area where the concrete will go (Is it grass, hard dirt, rock, soft dirt, landscape granite or old broken concrete). Square foot pricing is the worst and most inaccurate way of comparing builders & housing value. There are thousands of items in a house and hundreds of hours labor. Something as simple as the finish on a faucet, or the type of wood used in the bath vanity cabinet can raise the price of the bathroom. Also, window design and configuration, whether or not the home has a fireplace, etc. all affect the square foot price.

For the same reason that new cars are not priced by dollars per pound, the most fair answer is: It depends. While the amount of stone required for your project is a significant part of the price, there are other variables. For this reason, we prefer to first understand the variables of your project and then issue a prompt preliminary estimate. We are careful to avoid any appearance of bait and switch marketing that can occur on the low end of our marketplace with square foot pricing.

New homes usually cost around $170 per square foot, whereas remodeling often runs $200 to $500 per square foot and even higher, depending on the project specifications.
