Residents can stay in their current rooms over the summer period, if there are no scheduled summer maintenance works for that apartment. In the case where summer maintenance works are scheduled, Monash Residential Services will relocated affected residents to other apartments within Mews for the duration of the maintenance works.

Two bedrooms will be available for a maximum of two nights at a time, while the other two will only be available one night at a time. The reason for the one night rooms is so we can provide a place for people to 'nap' during the day.

Yes. Guests may stay in a member's room although there are some restrictions. Members are responsible for their guest's behavior and meal charges, but there is no rent charges. Guests who stay for more than one week must be approved by the house and may be required to do 1-2 hours of labor per week. Guests may not stay for more than three weeks; after this period, they must apply for regular membership.

Each guest room can accommodate a maximum of three people. Please note that the third bed will be a rollaway bed.

There are no guarantees of accommodation beyond the current Agreement period, however you may nominate to have the same room on subsequent occasions. You may also nominate to change your room/residence if you wish.

In return for volunteering you will receive a room (if one is available at the time) and food. If no room is available we will endeavor to find a home stay at minimal cost to the volunteer. Evening meals are requiring to be bought sometimes but basically the cost of living here ends up to zero.

We allow well behaved pets in two of our rooms, German Room and the Country Mountain. A $50 nonrefundable fee will be charged to have your pet in the room with you. When you stay in a room other than those, we allow you to board them in one of our stalls located in the main barn. Additional fees apply for all rooming and boarding of pets. All pets must be accompanied by an owner at all times and on a leash while not in their room, RV, or boarding quarters.
