There is a tour bus leaving George Square every 10-20 minutes between 09:30 and 16:30 (17:00 between 2nd July and 2nd September only) every day of the week including Saturday and Sunday.

For better guide and visitor interaction, pre-booked guided tours in Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve will be limited to maximum of 15 people per guide as of 1 Jan 2007. The charge for the pre-booked guided tour remains at S$50.00. You can book the guided tour from Mondays to Saturdays at either 9am or 3pm with one month's notice. This guided tour is about one hour and covers approximately 1/4 of route one or the mangrove boardwalk.

The frequency of tours changes in line with seasonality and demand. However as a rule of thumb the tours start at 10 and finish around dusk and may run as late as 6.00pm in the summer. The majority of these tours only run in the winter months as this is when there is more demand and we can make sure we get the minimum numbers to run. In the case of the flights the minimum is typically 8 people but we may run with less. Our tours are physically active with lots of walking, standing while sightseeing, and even more stair climbing. Age is not a concern as long as you are physically fit and a strong walker. You must be able to carry all of your own luggage. Regardless of your age, before you leave for Europe, get in shape. Try to walk at least an hour every day and hike up lots of stairs. Back to top

There is an abundance of marine life in the Gulf of Maine and Acadia region. We typically encounter Finback, Humpback and Minke whales. Dolphins, porpoises and seals are usually seen, as well as a wide variety of birds such as seagulls, hawks and puffins. Bald eagles, and Peregrine falcons are known to nest in the region and can sometimes be seen. Occasionally, we are lucky enough to have the highly endangered Right Whale visit the area.

Most colon cancers arise from benign (adenomatous) polyps. If you can detect and remove these polyps you can prevent colon cancer from developing. Polyps increase in frequency with age; for example, 50% of people over the age of 50 have polyps.
