If after receiving a Tennessee Certificate of Title, the owner or lien holder discovers an error on the title, circle the incorrect information in red and write the correct information in red near the incorrect information. To receive a corrected or duplicate copy, please send a written request and in the case of corrections, include the original incorrect certificate with the corrections indicated. A - The basic details on every CO application is not listed in the BIS system. You can obtain a complete copy of the CO by bringing the CO number to the DOB Borough office where the property is located.

The company will need to complete the application for Certificate of Authority, which may be downloaded from the Corporations Division website at: www.sos.state.ga.us/corporations.
