What's my CRUZCAT PIN?

Ask a Librarian: UCSC Library
CRUZCAT requires a personal identification number (PIN) for viewing your circulation record, renewing library items online, and placing holds. You will be asked to establish a PIN the first time you use one of these services in CRUZCAT. If you don't already have a PIN, enter the number or password you'd like as your PIN. You'll then be asked to re-enter your new PIN and confirm it by entering it a third time. You create your own PIN, the library does not assign one to you.

TickerFactory.com does not use any registration system or ask for any personal identification (such as email address). Tickers using data that needs updating (weight loss, exercise...) only require you to know the ticker web address and the PIN protecting the modifications to its data.
