There should be no problem having your own PC connected to the private network. The firewall within the Sleepycat Server prevents clients on the pay network connecting with those on the private network. Further to that, clients on the pay network cannot connect to each other unless both parties make changes to their own network settings to specifically allow this. Although there should be no security issues, we would not advise that your own computers are connected through the pay network.
