Some Skinkers have sounds, some don't. If you know your Skinker is meant to make some sounds, make sure:

macam focuses on video. Cameras that have microphones almost universally use USB Audio Class for sound. This enables the system software driver to use the camera microphone while macam handles the video. The macam application does not record sound for movies, this is a deliberate choice [what should it sound like at 10x?]. The macam component lets the system deal with sound.

If your baby does not respond clearly to the screen, the screening unit will show a 'refer' result.  If it is your baby's first screen, we will try again later the same day or the next day.  If you are due to go home, you can return at a later date for the re-screen. First, make sure that you aren't transposing any layers of the Preset in the Preset Edit menu, as this will throw off the Note Number assignments as listed in the Addendum. Also, setting the Triggers Mode to "Play Beats Part" may not automatically map the ideal note numbers to each Trigger button, so you might not get your beats to sound as you would expect.

It's a good question with many answers! FIRSTLY - the TriAxis can be set up with many different sounds - make sure that the sounds within the unit are what you like - a simple statement, but unless you know how to change them with memory dumps, then it's twiddle time on the front controls. Unfortunately that is probably NOT the way to do things - the sounds you hear will be dependent on the other items in your rack including the amp used.

All Ac's have sound because the compressor in these AC's is never sound proof. The the sound is not that loud, it is decent enough to do regular things and have a good night sleep if installed in the bedroom. Each Ac has a different sound level but they are fairly close ranging from 45 - 51.5 dBA

From Windows Add/Remove Programs, located in the Control Panel (please consult Windows help for information on how to do this). From the Start Menu. When it is installed, the Skinkers application creates an uninstall icon in its program group in the Start Menu. Clicking this will start the uninstallation process. Check to see if the speakers are connected correctly to your system. The speakers are usually connected to the green input jack on the back of your computer tower. Check to see if the sound is not muted and the volume is turned up. This can be verified in Accessories, Entertainment, Volume Control. Go into the Device Manager and remove all items listed under "Sound, Video and Game Controllers".

Providing you've got a clean source signal, analog recordings generally sound fine, giving nearly inaudible differences from digital ones. Note however that many computer soundcards have noisy analog output stages, so when recording from a computer, digital transfers are recommended (one exception is the USB based Xitel MD-Port AN1 which runs outside of the PC chassis and produces good quiet analog output).

Test your RealOne Player connection settings. From the menu select Tools>Preferences>Connection. Under "Bandwidth" click on the button "Test Connection." A new dialog box will open. Some newer videos are encoded in new video CODECs. CODECs are used to decompress video and audio so it works normally on your PC when playing. Because of this, you may need to update to the latest version of the following players to get some videos to work if they are not already doing so. We try to encode all our movies so they work in Windows Media Player so that you will not have difficulties seeing the best image and sound quality.

The general consensus is "no" due to the amount of noise that gets introduced into the file by that process. You may not initially even hear the noise due to your computer fan, the quality of your speakers, etc; but inexpensive sound cards, in conjunction with your computer itself, introduce noise into the files.

Sometimes during the set up the USB connected Netphone overrides the default sound card so all your sound comes out of the Netphone The most likely cause is that you are behind a firewall or have some firewall software running (eg ZoneAlarm). You need to either shut off your firewall or have your PC expert configure your firewall to accept incoming calls to the phone.

Remember, CO is an odorless, colorless gas. If your carbon monoxide alarm went off, it detected CO. Make sure no one has any symptoms of CO poisoning. The CO alarm should be located 15-20 feet away from all fossil fuel burning sources like furnaces and stoves. It should be located 10 feet away from sources of humidity like showers. Check pilot lights/flames for blue color. Appearance of blue flames indicates incomplete combustion-a source of carbon monoxide.

If your AVI movie refuses to load or play, it's possible that it needs a codec you don't have. You can find almost all the codecs you'll ever need in the Nimo package, available here. Additionally you might want to install DivX 5 and XviD. To install the AC3 codec in Windows XP, open ac3-filters.zip and extract it to c:\windows\system32. Then click on Start > Run and type in "c:\windows\system32\registerfilters-win2000.cmd". To install the AC3 codec in Windows 95/98/ME, open ac3-filters.

Putting more into the hub would only be wasting money. Centrifugal force keeps throwing the lubricant into the largest part of the hub and onto the bearings. The bearings are constantly being bathed in lubricant, even with that amount of lubricant.

If the BrainWave Generator's sample rate is too low, the output may contain high levels of harmonics, which make the output sound poor. In this case, try increasing the Samples per second value in Advanced Options (Options menu). However, due to differences of individual sound cards, lowering the sample rate may sometimes improve the sound quality as well. You should try different values (from 30,000 Hz to 50,000 Hz) to find the one that will produce the best results on your sound card.
