Is there an archive of previous posts to the list?
Southbounders FAQNot currently. I do keep a folder of all the posts sent to the list and have been known to send prior posts to people on request. Someday I may put them on a web page (without email addresses of course).

If you treat me to a $5 breakfast I will send you the URL for the zippack. Click HERE . To keep the archive current and relevant I am limiting it to the last 100+ issues. That's still 500+ popular questions and answers. There's really no sense in having the search utility bring up old posts with outdated Links and URLs and outdated fixes.

WIND NetworkingPlease note that, depending on how your mail client is configured, replies to posts to the list will go to the sender, not the list. I feel this is wrong, as the list is primarily a discussion list, but the topic has been beaten to death, and the decision made. So if you want to send a reply to the list, make sure you change the To: field. On the other hand, do not "Reply to All". If you reply to both the poster and the list, the poster will get two copies, which is rather annoying.

Mutt has some features for handling mailing lists, including handling replies neatly. All other mail clients should have a Reply to All feature. Reply to All will make sure that both the author of the mail you're replying to and the list will get a copy of your mail. Double-check your To: and CC: fields before you send to make sure that slug@slug.org.

I have an auto-reply that will respond to you next time I check my mail.
