It is a laminated shingle composed of a dimensionally stable, heavyweight, non-woven glass fiber mat which is thoroughly impregnated and coated with IKO-SBS modified asphalt. This special asphalt gives Grandeur shingles superior tear and tensile strength characteristics. These shingles carry a UL 2218 Class 4 impact resistance rating.
