A ~ Yes! All schools have demographic information, grades, food service, attendance and schedule. Our secondary schools (VVMS, CMS, SFC & SHS) also have grade information.

Rockwood provides a wide range of programs for students who are identified as gifted. At the elementary level, students attend the Center for Creative Learning one day per week and also receive gifted resource services at their home school. At the middle school level, students are offered a course titled Academic Stretch. Academic Stretch is paired in the block schedule with an accelerated Language Arts course. The middle schools also offer Challenge classes in all major content areas.

A ~ Family Access is a web based tool designed to enhance parent/guardian and school communication. Family Access provides parents with near real time information on many important areas of their student’s education including attendance, schedules and grades. Your use of the Family Access website is voluntary.

When your high school student transfers from the Academy, we will, upon written request from the parent or school district, supply the new school with an official transcript. When your high school senior graduates, we will send an unofficial transcript to you. We will forward an official transcript to any college(s) upon written request only.

Yes. High school students can enlist and undergo Basic Combat Training (BCT) and drill periods prior to graduating but can’t begin AIT (Advanced Individual Training) or be deployed until after they graduate.

High school students may be eligible to earn University credit through Non-Degree Enrollment. They should contact their high school counselor to determine if enrollment in University-level courses is appropriate and will further their educational goals.

Yes. In order to receive any financial aid, the federal government requires that we have a final official transcript for all students. If a transfer student has already completed 24 or more credits, their high school information SAT/ACT scores will not be used to evaluate them for admission, but we still need to have their transcript to complete their file before they can enroll. If they have less than 24 credits, we still use their high school info to make an admissions decision.

High school transcripts are only mandatory if you are under 18, have been graduated or passed the GED and are seeking special admission to TMCC. (If you are under 18-years-old and have not graduated, special forms are available at A&R for your admission.) If your ACT or SAT scores are posted on your transcript and you want to use those for placement in English or math, submit your transcript. High school transcripts are also required when applying for financial aid or scholarships.

Yes. Your application to the visiting student program will be evaluated based on your high school record. Please remember that as a visiting student you will not be working toward a degree at Johns Hopkins, although you may transfer the credits you earn to another institution.

A ~ Family Access is a web based product, so it should work on your computer like any other web based application, such as Netscape or Internet Explorer. First, you should check to make sure you have the right Family Access web site address, or URL. You can access the Family Access web portal from any Snohomish School District "school page" at: http://www.sno.wednet.edu or from http://family.snohomish.wa-k12.net. Occasionally, the Family Access web server may be down for maintenance.

Internet access in some form is necessary to gain maximum use of High School of Your Dreams. In addition to suggested texts, audio books, and other resource materials, each course references an extensive listing of web-based resources that may be used by the student for research and supplemental purposes. In addition, young adults will be entering college and a work force that require familiarity with the internet.

A Only high school seniors are eligible. Applicants must be enrolled in or have been accepted to an accredited college or university for Fall 2006.

No, you don't need to submit your high school transcript if you did not take American History in high school. Note: Either way, you are still required to successfully complete 6 hours of Historical Studies as a part of the required 60 semester hours of prerequisite courses. However, if you did not take American History in high school, you must complete 6 hours of American History in college prior to entering the BSN program.

Transfer students are required to submit a high school transcript when their college transcript does not provide enough information. We use the high school transcript for several reasons: to verify math readiness (algebra I, geometry, algebra II) when the college transcript does not show college algebra or higher; to determine admissibility of a transfer student who has less than 30 transferable hours; and to verify two years of the same foreign language.

A student copy transcript is a record of your grades. It does not bear the official seal of the college or the Registrar's signature. Student copy transcripts can be given directly to students once the appropriate fee is paid.
