Theoretically, of course you can. However, this type of connection to the Internet is not suitable for a business Web site. While you can host your own site, your connection is a fraction of the speed and capacity of a dedicated hosting line such as those offered by Virtualtech. Xecunet DSL provides high-speed internet access directly to you over your telephone line, whereas cable modem offers high-speed internet access over a cable television line which means the bandwidth would be shared with everyone in the local loop. This then means that cable-modem access may slow down if there are too many people using it.

A Cable connection uses a cable line and DSL uses a phone line to access the Internet.
